So this is the first time I've used this 14 - 24mm lens and it made life hard with no filters (polarisers and ND filters) but here are a few out of the 660...

I... got nothing for this one ... "whhaaaddduuuuppp" -booost-

Looking Good :D

Did all the shots turn out weird like this though?

Thanks Shaneo. I'd bought the RE30s to suit the 33R, but have decided they also look ok on the 34R... we are deliberating over whether bronze LMGT4 will look better than the F1 RE30s?

The gold Advan RGs are good combo with Terry's blue VS2 too.

Loved your new acquisition mate, didn't know they had carbon bonnets  As I said to you on the day I think it wasa smart buy for you getting a near-new Evo over an older R.

Had a few fave R34s on the day, wanted to chat but didn't get the chance as I was at the back of the pack and as soon as we pulled up at the truck stop we were off again then got split up at the pub(s)

OKOKOK - One of the few white R34s I've seen that I think looks awesome (and white doesn't detract from this one at all) - Nismo bodykit and silver LMGTs

Jamie's MNP II was also very nice - limited ed. 1 of only 300 I think?

Matt, should you ever decide to get rid of those RE-30s, I'd like to know how much you'd let them go for, please! :worship: :worship: :worship:

I have heaps to go through man I just liked that one and yes I bumped up the contrast. I'm still learning techniques and settings with that type of lens so don't expect super pro stuff :) Matty had the right idea with the polariser on his camera (which I couldn't do)

worst comes to worse if you shot in raw and don't mind us photography nerds would love them! :D

well I only had the one memory card because my other one was in melbourne in my other camera body with my sister so shooting in RAW wasn't going to be optimal as I didn't know how many photos I was going to take :(

I know enough to get me by haha I just need to get in and process about 200 photos from my cousins wedding >.>

It was a fun drive up there ... first time on Putty Rd for me. The destination however was a bit "meh". We ended up going for a beer accross the road due to the long queues and by the time we got back kitchen was closed (2:30PM??) and then found out there's only KFC and Maccas that are still open. Ended up getting some Fish n Chips which reminded me once again how much I hate fish n chips. I thought Singleton would be more a touristy type of town being in the middle of the Hunter region but it really is quite a sleepy town with nothing to see.

I got sunburnt so badly that i've got blisters on my right shoulder and couldn't sleep last night, fark me. First time in 15 years that happened. Weird thing is I got sunburnt on my left arm and head too and I wasn't in the sun for more than 20 minutes during the half-way break and at Singleton. Think they're all out of ozone up there because I don't usually get sunburnt this quickly

All in all .. fun drive and I hope that motorcycle rider wasn't hurt badly

need some more pics?

where are all the fotos the pros were taking? lol

It'll cost ya lol!!!

I have one of yours by the way! No more pics because the camera didn't get recharged :(

Thanks mate. White wasn't the colour I was looking for when I stumbled across the bargain of the century - in regards to modifications for the price, so I figured I could live with the colour.

started out really good for us in the pulsar! until colo heights and hot tyres stuffed it for us.. ended up with a blowout and then drive home :(

Wondered what happened to you guys, one minute you in my rear mirror.........netx your not. Glad to hear you made it home ok.

    • The HG high flow is excellent, and costs about the $$ you're talking about. But it, and probably every other highflow, uses a diffeent core than the original turo, and the original Hitatchi core is quite long. So, I think it is inevitable that there is likely no such thing as a highflow that just "bolts on" with no other effort required. And the same is likely true for HG's outright replacement "bolt on" turbos (the ATR things). And the same is likely true for anything similar from elsewhere. I have no idea if the cheap Chinese/Taiwanese complete turbos from eBay/Temu/etc are as bolt on as they claim. I mean, they claim the bolt onto the NAs as well as the turbos, and we know that can't be "bolt on". But it wouldn't matter because I'm not buying a $169 4 psi turbo for anything other than a paddock basher.
    • Bummer...yeah i "need" something to "ease" up the work and for my driving it would be enough.    Iam counting the tune "without" turbo. I do not mean "cheap" like something from Temu around 200 USD, "Cheap" is something around 1000 USD?
    • Starter motors used to use the weight of metal (magnets) to provide torque. Now they use (more) current instead. This. It's completely normal.
    • So thing that had me stumped, but I think is OK....is that when it was up in the air, in neutral I had it running to bleed to coolant while I put the wheels back on. I noticed the rears were turning (slowly) which I'd never seen before 20250928_163512.mp4     Because there had been an issue with clutch slip due to pedal adjustment on the dyno, I assumed there was still and issue so spent some quality time upside down under the dash adjusting the pedal....but no matter what I did the wheels still turned in neutral. Even disconnected the master cylinder to pedal rod and same. In despair, I even removed the clutch slave so there was no chance of any preload causing it.....still happened. So either: 1. Something is not right in the bellhousing, or 2. Its a thing sometimes with cold, thick gearbox oil Internet says it might be 2, I hope so!
    • OK, few more things sorted and it is ready for a shakedown on 10-Oct, with one weird thing. Changed the run in oil and filter for the good stuff. 8l came out, about 8.5 went in with filter so that looks all good. Changed the starter (again), this time for a brand new one, works good. Interesting that the Taaaarks one is shorter than factory but spins harder, I guess electronics have moved on a little in the last 30 years. Will be nice to have a bit of extra space under there. Put the timing cover back on, and noted where the cam gears were set as a record.  Will need to double check the timing but it is pretty close. Also put the coil pack cover and intake snorkel back on. Exhaust Inlet Changed the water out for coolant, bled up nicely. Removed the rear brake pads (well worn factory sumitomo ones!), gave the hardware a good clean and reassembled. I've put bendix XP on the back again because the price is excellent at $150 a set and they worked well on the V37. Front pads have plenty so no issue there
