Lol this is a FORUM fool... All kinds of people can voice there opinion and write a comment anywhere any time, You shouldn't be posting here if you honestly expect people not to write in your thread weather related or unrelated... You honestly sound like one depressed human being may i suggest you get some counseling?. :) Other wise good luck

Thanks for your unrelated comment.... blah blah blah.

Speaking of unrelated topics I just had the BEST toasted cheez sandwich eva!

It rocked my sox...

Now, notice how I incorrectly spelt some words there?

This obviously points to my poor socioeconomic status...

I should probably just neck myself but alas I can't afford rope & furthermore have to go & pick up my cousin from jail.

When I get home I might advertise my mint cond. low km car for less than what shit-box examples of the same model are selling for. I'll then wait for the rudest, most arrogant prick I can imagine to e-mail me (e-mail so I know he's serious) then offer him an even better price!

BTW, I only JUST found out there is a limit to how many idiot points (neg. feedback) you can give in one day. So thank you OP, your sheer stupidity has actually taught me something...

Mods please lock thread

That's a very wise decision.

And next time do not post your unrelated thread in the for sale section...

P.S no need to thank me for my comments, your very welcome....

Fine, thank you for you comments. (you made a spelling error - I marked it in bold to show you )

Now, do you have a car for sale?

It does not look like it. So you are just after some conversation? A new friendship? Perhaps you think the world wants to see your opinions, like some kind of SAU twitter account?

Not interested sorry.

Start your own thread in off topic.

If you have car for sale, please PM only. Still have not found something fitting the description.

If you don't like the way I have gone about trying to find a car, keep it to yourself.

Hi,

I work as a college lecturer with ranging hours, so viewing during work hours can be arranged.

Thank christ i never went to college :stupid:

i am willing to drop the price $100 and throw in a set of 15" 3 spoke mags, 3 with hsv center caps, some gutter rash

Sounds like a bargain. PM me some pics!

I would not take it for free.

I would not take it even if you paid the costs of ownership swap and one year's rego.

And just to help you out, why wouldn't I?

1. Rego stopped recently? 60,000km is not recently.

2. You want to trade it for an rego'd auto? You already have a rego'd auto..

3. Car is mechanically excellent? A 20 year old car with an estimated 300km on the clock? Trade it in. For another rego'd auto. I imagine you will get more than what you are asking.

4. This is nothing like what I have advertised I am seeking. Wrong brand, wrong KM's, wrong body type, wrong transmission, wrong ... everything.

5. Your level of english in the ad is much better than in the forums. It is so bad in the forums you come across as moronic. You can say "whatever this is just a forum", but a forum is a purely place of communication, therefore it is even more important here. And experience has taught me that if you lack those basic communication skills, the socioeconomic group that you belong to will be far down the food chain. As a result the car has probably not had the nicest of lives, nor been taken care of as well as it should have been (i.e, with the right oil, servicing, driving). While this is not always true, it mostly is. I know lots of people using that type of language on forums, but not a good idea when you are advertising something.

6. Tri-spokes? 3 which have center caps? Really..

7. I only have one car park.

Like I said, the ad itself is actually alright. Well presented, good communication skills. And (some) people will buy anything.

Good luck selling the car.

Isnt the bold above an unrelated comment? I am only asking, as because I never went to college I must belong to a lower socioeconomic group. So therefore Imost certainly must be dumb.

Ive got series 3 steering wheel. All you need is the rest of the car. Guaranteed the steering wheel is stock and not modified.

This is awesome......I want to post my unrelated comment

I can comfortably see someone posting the perfect car, just to get him to come to their house so they can introduce his teeth to gutter....

Imports dont have a market value they have a "how much you want it" value

Geez, I hope you don't find a Skyline, there are enough arrogant pricks that drive them, we don't need another! If you're a college professor, why is your budget only $12,000?

What wrench is really saying is that he's some 14 year old who moderates his clans WoW phpbb board and thinks he is top shit with his mad grammer skillz yo!

He once overheard some of the cool kids at his school talking about Skylines and researched them in the hope he could be cool too.

He wishes he owned one so he comes on here with his small penis and his pseudo intellectual bullshit and wastes genuine sellers time so that he can tell the kids at school he is looking to buy a Skyline.

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
