Hey folks DVD offer is open. PM me if you want to get in on it. We need to have at least 15 people confirmed and paid before the day for it to go ahead so that the club photographers get enough money to pay for petrol and their costs.

I also have two go-pro's still available for rent on the day too.

Only 1 GoPro rental left. I'll take that one and one person for a reserve list.

Come on people get in for the photo DVD or else it won't happen. It would be a shame not to have some great photos of your car on the track. I get comments on mine at work all the time - people walk by and see my background and say - is that your car? I say Yup, sure is!

Yup, this will be a shame if it doesn't go forward folks. Only Three people have stepped up for it. I can't ask these guys to come all the way out for that. I plan to buy one even though I'm driving the Wife's car!

We need 11 more people to make this a go. Git in quick!

My silver boat coming into the pits which is one of my screen savers and also, I think, Fatz missus slowing me down in a white GTR (correct me if Im wrong) LOL.....<BR><BR>Sorry, LOL......<BR><BR>Mark

Come on guys! Photos are definitely worth it and i think myself and matt's quality of imagery definitely will exceed your expectations! We want to come to this as much as you want to race to capture the moments you remember but we need people to sign up!

As Matt said, it's along way for me (4 hours one way). The DVD's are cheap!

All it needs is to cover the petrol down there. Anything else and thats our food lol. If we can get another 5 people i'd say we are about 100% to go, i'm sure some people on the day will sign up. Will speak to Matty about it.

Ok that's 4 more to make this a go! (Thanks Kory).

Kory shot this of my car the other night at EC in very tough evening light conditions. Having pro photographers get you action shots of your cars is so much better than just a friend with a little point and shoot camera folks!

And a lot better then the local camera man on the track. I shoot better pictures.

Hahahaha thanks a20089. Apparently he rakes it in :O I'd be charging through the roof too if i had to live at wakefield lol. It's soooo boring out there!

Come on guys! We want to come down :) If we are to go into the marshalling areas there will definitely be some awesome photos and lots more creativity/angles as well.

i'm a pic whore. will probably be in on the day if this goes ahead. i just cant help myself

I'm the same - I have photos from almost every event I've entered and I still can't get enough. Got a response from Terry too last night so that's two more, three to go.

Ummm...

Can my vid be sped up a wee bit without anyone else detecting it? :P

    • After using a protractor for an actually accurate assessment of what is required,  and by NOT using my uncalibrated eyeball I worked out I need a 25° silicone bend from the TB ro the MAF, but, my choice was either a 30° or a 23° (23° is a weird spec), so I grabbed the 23° one from Raceworks I also grabbed 1mtr of 3" straight from Just Jap, I needed 350mm, but they only had 300mm, or 1mtr lengths....meh Also ordered a 1/2" hose bulkhead fitting from fleabay, this has a smoothish mushroom looking head (they are designed for below the water line of boats) that will fit inside the bend, the hose bit and threaded bit looks to long, but nothing that a hacksaw cannot fix if required, the hose will then just get jamed on the threaded bit up to the retaining nut Fingers crossed and the unsightly amount of hose clamps will be reduced down to 4 once all the parts arrive
    • Oil change does not trigger code 21. Code 21 is for coilpacks primary side connection. You can try to clear the code with a battery disconnect, hold down the brake pedal to drain capacitors through the brake lights with the ignition on for 10-15 seconds before you reconnect the battery. I have seen R35 coil conversion permanently cause this code with no ill effects so it might be the resistance it wants to see isn't quite right on one or more coilpacks. Could be inside the ECU, could be the harness, could be a coil. You can test it all if you want or just ignore until the car actually starts misfiring.
    • I forgot you have a Nistune ECU. Use Nistune to do all the tests I mentioned instead of faffing with 30+ year old electrical connectors. You can read MAF volts off that too, there are reference values in the service manual to tell you roughly what it should be in different conditions.
    • No. I think it might be the AFM. Hence the use of the terms "swaptronics", which implies the use of swapping out electronics for the purpose of diagnosis. It's about the only way to prove that a small/niggling/whatever problem with an AFM or a CAS or similar is actually caused by that AFM/CAS/whatever. A known good item swapped in that still gives the same problem is likely to be caused somewhere else. They're all the same. Spraying AFMs with cleaner is an each way bet between cleaning it and f**king it.
    • Oh wow! This might actually work amazingly. Do you know the ratio of the diff? I was told the only thing you need to make sure of is if the front & rear diff ratios are the same. Ours is a 4.083 Thanks!
