I woke up at 7:30am, went for a stair run at Coogee which brought out an awful hangover (only a 6 pack the night before) feeling. Got home and saw it was raining like crazy so I pulled out and blamed the hangover. That was my txt Hamiltonau.

Seemed like a good call :)

we got at the meet point and then checked here and saw it was canceled :( weather on the way home was seriously terrible!

Saw a few cars there, cruised with BOO5TN i think it was on the way there..

ah! i was trying to figure out who had a red 33! :D that thing sounded tits!

It was me Patrick, the Great Sir Andrew !!!!!!!! :) HAHAHAHAH

Was good to meet a few people and go for a drive up there. Bloody good timing the rain stopped for when we got to the lookout, it sure made up for it on the way home!!! Heaviest rain EVER!!!!! Saw a car that had spin off the road on Mona Vale road and go backwards into a tree at a decent speed, YIKES!!!!! Heaps of other cars had stopped. MASSIVE areas of aqua planing on the road too, not cool. but adds to the excitement!!!!!

Great to meet Patrick, Joel, Ed and Michael in the R32 GTR, plus briefly meet slow skyline (your car sounded PHAT when you left the car park, nice wheels too mate :D )

Got some good pics from the lookout will post up when i get the camera sorted.......

Yeah i drove like a biatch on the way back, even on 12psi my car just spins the wheels in the wet....... plus my walking frame was getting in the way of the steering wheel, i cant help if i am a girly-man :D

Yeah got heaps of scenery pics, still on camera at home, just need to find the cable and upload them. I'll post the good ones here so you can grab them.

sorry to hear u get wheelspin so easily Andrew, guess having all that power sometimes has its disadvantages...woot! only time i would be able to lose you i guess, bring on the rain

oh and Eddie, if u only ever take that beast out on wknds? then thats just karma biatch :P if i had that thing it would be on the road morning and night.

I am beginning to think im never going to get to go on a cruise with you guys :(

Nah, there's more unusual stuff as well as cruises on for this year.

For instance, stayed tuned for another cruise up to Trackside Restaurant 2011 with another high profile guest.

And Matt's working on some more besides...

yup weekends only these days ...bloody garage queen hey lol!

cruise + golf day ftw!

Yeah Luke! Had originally planned to do both - would've had to meet up 1.30, leave Church pt 2.00pm, up to the lookout by 2.30pm, then to Freshwater by 3.30pm - was a bit tight.

Balgowlah is a 9-hole course and only 15 bucks after 4pm for 9 holes, in addition bourbons at the clubhouse worked out to about $4.50 each and the bartender even drove a couple of the boys home afterwards... the place is recommended..

    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
