Beautiful. Plenty of clearance.

Are you using some kind of external regulator for those two feeds so you can control the oil flow to the head via pressure adjustment? Or just running larger orifice restrictors inline somewhere that can be changed easily enough? Say like a pill holder on the return side of a mechanical fuel system?

Insane build by the way,

I was just wondering you might of already said, but what rpm are you going to be aiming for and what oil clearances on mains and big ends or is John going to stay with the factory specifications with the high boost and high rpm?

Also what pistons are you running and where did you get the wrist pins?

Thank you.

max rpm will be 9000 and the bearing clearance is just under 2 thou for the main and big ends.

The pistons im running a Custom JE pistons and they supplied the wrist pin. If you go to the begining of the thread there is a copy of the piston specification.

Dear bobby, please let me have your annual salary/bank balance <3 alby

On a more srs note, its looking bloody fantastic mate. Skola is definately an automotive legend, and deserves so much more. Has always been in the front of development and good ideas!

Hi Allan,

I think its nothing to do with salary its more to do with the amount of hours has been put into this project.

Thank you John Skola has put in alot of effort getting it all together

you mean there's a window for each runner that exits from the billet collector and into 2 'wastegate collectors', and then from the 2 wastegate collectors into each wastegate?

    • Possibly avoid using a Cometic one unless the deck/head surface are perfectly flat. I did have a look just then and forgiving gaskets such as Tomei or Nitto don't exist for the FJ20, however the Bar-Tek or Kameari ones look good and might do the trick.
    • Because pipe threads for pipe things. M threads for bolt things. Throw some teflon sealant onto it and dust your hands off knowing you did the right thing, instead of going twice around the block to achieve a result using the wrong things. Of course, all of these solutions are ignoring the fact that the minimum thread pitch we're talking about here is 1.25mm, with the 1/4" in NPT or BPS being out around 1.4mm. You will need to know that the boss you're tapping has enough thickness for at least a few threads. That's one of the reasons that 1/8" is commonly used - because the pitch is <1mm. And why would you look to use 1/4" NPT in a BSP country anyway? Ugh.
    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)
