I can't drive a drag very well at all... and with my brother with a stop watch in the passenger seat I managed to do mid 9 sec 0-100. RB30 manual box, Rb25de 240,000kms. I barely got any wheel spin and I would rev it up a bit to start but the revs would drop down to like idle and then climb lol. I was too nice to it. But its sounds like considering I was a bad driver 9 1/2 sec is pretty good lol.

I am sure it did it faster when it was auto simply because it would start better (since the auto slips kinda). I guess mid 7 or 8+ as an auto. Sure did feel fast off the mark as an auto and that I think is where most time is lost unless I am mistaken.

cheers

Ok, thats it.

Actually bothered to do this.

10 secs, auto NA SR20, simply foot down in drive, in straight auto mode. Filled to the brim of fuel, full weight nothing taken out. 218k kms on the clock.

Hi guys, what would be the 0-100km/h time for a N/A nissan skyline manual coupe (untouched and unmodified)? I did a search around these forums, google etc couldn't find anything.

EDIT: Model is R34 25GT

you didnt really answer his question...

he drives an R34 with a RB25DE in it . im also guessing you were not driving a skyline.

so

differnent car, different motor

HOWEVER, that time would be roughly the same.

/facepalm

RB25DE Neo 200hp at fly yes? Manual = faster too with launch.

SR20DE non VVT AUTO 135hp @ fly..

Someone seriously can't drive. They SHOULD easily get high 7s (good driver) to mid low 8s (average performance car driver)

Cause there are people in here with R34s saying 10+secs for a R34 to 100.

If ^ car can do 10secs, then there are lots of shit drivers.

Quick youtube search. 8 secs, no launch.

Now close topic as question has been answered.

i originally said this becausethe SR20 (depending on the car - List of Cars With The SR20) you are capable of running low 8's

    • Working through possible solutions of converting my mechanical speedo.    Anyone know what type of speedo sensor the factory r34 gtr getrag has ? what the output is ? I assume its not a VSS and more a voltage like earlier speedo sensors ? Can an ECU read it ?

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
