FYI. I'm organizing a large scale meet in the coming weeks.

There will be a cruise involved and many opportunities for nice pics to be taken...

So if that guy from Singapore who loves r32 could come that'd be excellent..

Ps I expect to see every single one of you homos there.

There will be that game you guys love... Four minutes in the closet or whatever you guys call it

Sounds wicked bro I'll try to make it! And I will bring a spoon for the egg race ;)

So yes few things established...

there are more than a few James's in perth that own r32s and are talking in this thread.

the cruise "for r32s and and anything else that wants to come along" will be on Sunday 24th April heading to Serpentine at around 11:15 from Perth Esplanade car park.

So let me know who's in boys...

Just make sure the dates don't conflict with the Golden Era Imports cruise which Eps is organising. I know there aren't dates up yet but that cruise is going to be the bigger one. :)

My shit is on May 1st it's not a cruise though. There will be a skylines exclusive cruise heading inbound to the event which I will organize,

The event will be a huge meet and show n shine.. With lots of fun surprises to be had

f**kK! Easter and DD...well if that aint incentive to move the date I don't know what is...

Let's change it to one of the Sundays after Easter Weekend...

1st May

8th May

15th May

Let me know if you can make each one and we'll set the date on the day that most people can come.

We're off to Serpentine and Gooseberry Hill btw. Probably better it happens in May so we get some nice cool weather happening

8th sounds good

Long shot... Does anyone here own my old R32 or know how she ended up? (Ferari red, vertex kit, RB26, the old MAYH3M)

Pretty sure owner is on here somewhere, i recall seeing the 2530's & intake pipes from it for sale not long back.

Still have to wait on a few more 8ths but that was my pick as well so we're lookin strong.

How bout we post up some hp figures in the meantime or something. Post up dyno maps n shit and we can make this a bit of a r32 one stop shop

Someone else can go first. Post anything r32 related in here really.........

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
