Gday guys and girls.

Im new to Skylines and this forum (previously owned Muscle Cars)

Just thought id pop by and introduce myself, Im Josh, bought a 33GTST bout 2 months ago and love it.

Live out in Belco so keep an eye out for me, Ill always wave even if I look like a wanker haha. Always keen for a cruise so ill keep an eye on the threads. I've heard great things bout SAU so Im keen to get involved.

This is the car below, just bought a carbon bonnet and rear diffuser for it, so itll soon change, hopefully for the better.

Hahahaha Thanks for the welcome guys, Seems like a laugh round here.

Scratch that bout the bonnet and diffuser :( Just Jap sold out of bonnets (two or three months wait) and itll be three or four weeks till i get the diffuser grrrrr.

Defintely gonna come to the next gathering, would love to meet you guys and pillage as much knowledge from you as possibly as i know squat about Skylines haha.

    • Ended up just being a loose exhaust bolt luckily.
    • Yeah I made that post way too early, sorry I must have assumed it was bad because it's a 20+ year old thrashed shitbox lol. It was just a loose exhaust bolt. 
    • Like others have said, drop the power to give your drivetrain a % of reliability until you can up the drivetrain reliability  It isn't rocket science, build power to the weakest link with a % of safety Whilst upping the the reliability of the drive train is costly, there's no point in having the engine make big power if it keeps eating the drivetrain....ask me how I know, I had the tow truck on speed dial for a few years, and I spent huge amounts of money fixing issues and breakages that really would have been cheaper in the long run if I did it right the first time Me, I like a nice sized fudge factor, that keeps me off the tow truck
    • I don't understand what the issue is with, turn the boost down and start saving $$.  As soon as you can afford the supporting mods, turn the boost back up.  If the car is running fine, enjoy it. Turning the boost down isn't going to kill you.
