Yes poor me!

On another note!

Anyone interested in a R34 GTR cooler? I originally bought it off SLED when he had his 34.

the cooler has done 360+rwkw so it flows well and does a good job at cooling.

also because its not sprayed black you can see it better than a STD R32&33 core.

PM me

i'd love the car to have a lumpier idle, but i think with possibly being a home owner in 4 weeks time is going to put a serious halt on getting cams.

Looks like I'll be picking up the keys for mine in 4 weeks. I can see it putting a serious curtailing on my mod plans for the near future :(

To any of the Northy usual suspects, I am going to be fitting some new toys to the V35 today if anyone is keen to come watch/help/drink.

What are you fitting? Might be keen if its interesting.

Well I dont wanna jinx it just yet but i might be handing over some keys next week!

so what's next Damo.........EVO hairdresser's special or maybe a Taxi ???

Stop being a girlie-man.......you know you want to :nyaanyaa:

Might see you up there Brad..............or if you're down south, you can help me hook up power to the new shed :whistling:

If i was going to buy another daily import, id seriously consider an Evo 6.5 TME.

this girl doesn't like pink skylines but i think we could forgive her

i would swap/buy a Evo in a heart beat all the bad press lately :/ but then i would miss the line

Considering she likes Justin Bieber...I am gonna say she is a younger then 18...or seriously messed up, and her profile is private

-7s are the same as 34 n1s

33 n1s are laggy pos

If you're happy with 300kw then you want -9s as they are basically an updated -7, they make more power but have extremely similar spool times. They are however slightly more expensive. -5s need something to help wake them up. Lots of boost is ideal but obviously not for a standard motor. I use poncams. E85 would help massively too. -5s+E85 would be the perfect street setup on a gtr IMO.

-7s or -9s are the turbos you want.

Exactly.

-7 are R34 N1

-9 are HKS GT-SS (No difference except HKS run a better actuator)

-5 are comparable to HKS 2530 (2530 slightly different)

-10 are HKS GT-RS.

If your looking at replacing your turbos -9/GT-SS are the way to go. I haven't had mine tuned yet, but going by others results full boost by alittle over 3k and will flow enough for 330kw. -7 are still decent but you will need to push them to make over 300kw. -5 are the 330-400kw turbo and really need 18psi + to be efficient. If you want 300 and below why buy -5? Alright with the -5 you've got more head room for more power but why? Why do you need 350kw to go 60kp/h?

But Dohmar don't you have the standard ceramics rebuilt to N1 specs? That's probably whats robbing your power setup and probably a really safe tune. I mean Weezy made 270rwkw with stock turbos at 1 bar with standard afm, injectors and a pfc.

its sad you looked at that  of course she is 18 :ermm:

3. I was curious

4. I am seriously messed up

    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
