you know who the guy is?......why dont you chase him up and give him a flogging????forget the cops...the truth is he wont get much from the law.....maybe free food and lodging for a few months paid by us tax payers.....

Well I've been told by my alarm installer that if he really wants to steal a fully alarmed and immoblised Skyline, he can do it in under 1 min.....

So the only way to protect yourself is insurance

thing is, we might get into more trouble for hitting the asshole than he gets from stealing and destroying other people's properly.

bring back vigilante justice!

you'd think that they'll be watching the forums for any traps laid for them though.

im sorry to hear this mate and i know what it feels like to have your car stolen but unlike me at least you got yours back and wasnt a professional stealing it for parts, but still thats some sad news mate.

There must be some kind of syndicate running around doing half of this shit though. So many 'lines go missing and so many like Alvins don't turn up.

This wasn't a crime syndicate, it's clearly a joy-rider/booster.

Highly unlikely to be doing it for the money if it's being driven around some half a day/day later. That's just typical degenerate crime.

If it was a proper crime syndicate the car would have been onto a trailer/container and immediately into a workshop or similar never to be seen again.

I know not this particular car but I was talking about others.

Seriously id be so happy to get the car back, im happy for you to have read that.

That damage is better than no damage&no car at all.

Since youre getting a second chance what are you going to do to prevent it happening again?

    • Hey Murray, hope all is good. I took your advice and put the filler first then the putty. Seems like a much better result but i noticed there are still pinholes. I even had pin holes when i initially put the putty on the body filler. Do you think it has something to do with my spreader being f*cked? I attached some images. This is the intially body filler i sanded. No putty yet  Applying putty. Final result after using wax and grease remover can see the pin holes. I just noticed as i look at the putty application it looks wavy not sure if it's supposed to be like that or because of the spreader.

    • Rust repairs completed, doors back on! pretty much totally back together running now. All future repairs will be fiddly wiring getting everything back up to road condition.  hasn’t  taken that long considering the condition I got the sub. note my helpers keeping the back seat warm 😂
