Godspeed - thanks for checking out my website. Im hoping clients will check out both sides, but I wanted to split it in two as I tend to shoot more indian weddings.

But otherwise design aspect is all fine with the website?

Quick shoot of my mates 32. Used a portable camping fluro light to light it up, far better then iPhone 4 light I was using before! Need to make something up that'll cover the excess light, might do that next week if I remember/cbf.

What camera settings did you use? wouldn't mind trying this but have nfi where to start.

yesterdays effort...

been thinking about a micro 4/3 camera with a real fisheye lens pretty much just to get higher quality versions of shots like these. not sure if its a wise move getting into debt for such a stupid reason tho, lol.

specially when i consider the fact that there is not a lot of adelaide left for me to explore, haha. i needs a bigger city, rofl!

Just off the top my head, I used a 50 second exposure and f7.0. Can't remember the focal lenth, but I'll get the Exif data and post it up when I get home. Used a 17-85mm lens too.

Matt's probably the best person to talk to when it comes to light painting though!

And like Sidd said, you need something to hold the shutter down for long periods of time. I've got a external shutter button for these things, cos me $45 from memory.

jay - great effort man.. So how exactly are you doing those shots? Must have missed your previous post. Wait I think I read you got it on pole???

cheers dude. i should take a photo of the setup, but yeah the gopro is mounted on the end of a monopod. its a compact pod so only has a reach of 145cm. it does fit in my bag tho, folding up to just 39cm. i would love a stomping 192mm gitzo, but dont have a spare couple hundred bucks laying around, lol. need to work out a better ball head for this one, atm im just using one stolen off a cheap fold up table tripod form the 90's.

Well, splitting them would also have the added benefit of those who *are*, say, very anglo, looking at your site and being able to straight away click on the Western side, if that's all they're interested in – instead of clicking into a gallery which contains both, and therefore contains pictures they're simply not interested in. And vice versa. I think it's a very good idea.

Yeah. I do reckon it looks great. The look and feel of the website has a nice crisp feel to it with no overbearing details, which says something about the photographer and the product that people can expect. Navigation and load speed are fine too, even on my 1990-spec Dell work laptop. :)

Now that's starting to freak me out! Great shot. Can you try a bit more photoshopping to up the contrast further and emphasise the depth (or height) of the drop?

@ josh23457 Here you go man

Gorgeous motor - I'm not the keenest Porsche fan but the 993 GT2 is definitely one of my favourites, and this would cost a bomb to buy.

cheers man, i want to take photos that make people physicaly ill. being scarred of heights myself i start getting headspins looking at some of the shots i have taken, haha.

i could try upping contrast, but the source was from a gopro which arent really made for stills. been considering a micro 4/3rds setup with a proper fisheye lens. may have the opportunity to go abseiling to take some shots of some window cleaners in adelaide soon, if that happens then i'll be thinking about a new setup a bit more seriously.

Lytro

The camera that turns light into living pictures

This year, Lytro will debut the first light field camera for everyone. OK – you’re not everyone. You are a beautiful, unique snowflake. And you deserve an amazing camera that lets you capture life’s singular moments, like baby’s first steps not second, with maximum magic and minimum hassle. No more fighting with dials and settings and modes. No more flat, boring, static photographs. With a Lytro, you unleash the light.

Looks really interesting. I wonder if this will change digital cameras much?

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
