Private health insurance ftw. $87 check up and clean cost me about $25 by the end.

Private health is great. had it for years.. but when you need shit done, its still f**kin pricey

i get free checkups/cleans. but everytime i go.. i need something else..

Mine are pretty good.... all original, no fillings, wisdoms out years ago.

I wish they were straighter though, I had braces as a teenager but didn't wear my retainer as much as I should and they moved :(

Used to go for 6 monthly check ups & cleaning religiously but got lazy and haven't been for ages. Should do that again. I only have Extras cover but got most of it back.

I think my parents spent like 10k on my teeth.

Had jaw expanded twice, braces, wisdoms out few fillings all white and a permanent wire on my bottom jaw but other than that I think they are pretty darn good.

I'm a bit anal when it comes to dental care. I could never go out with someone with yucky teeth.

Ummm..., how about that article on Today/Tonight Corinne, where they showed "Snapon Teeth"???

Pretty impressive! You'd never know if there were yucky teeth underneath until after the wedding day!!!

it's basically like a wearing a cap/hat while you are sweating alot..

bacteria grows

and turns acidic causing problems over time

and during the 12 hours whatever you eat and drink increases the acidity around the snap on and gives more food for the bacteria> eventually leading to more problems

as u said it... more perio problems and caries

if you were to CLEAN after everything you eat and drink? may work but "may" is not good enough haha

I get a government fund every 2 years worth around 5k. Covers all except cosmetic ie. bleaching

Protect your gums as poor gums leads to bad infections, gingervitus and then leads to your teeth decaying; ultimately periodontal disease.

I've got side impact wisdoms that will eventually need to come out... 4 figures to get it done fml!

i had the same shit... cost me 2.5k. had all 4 wisdom teeth out at once. my face swelled up like a bitch. couldnt eat nothing but yoghurt.

i had braces on as a kid and then the wisdom teeth decided to come up on the piss and push my bottom front teeth into eachother so got them out real quick. still have a wire in the bottom behind my front teeth to keep them from moving tho.

    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
