hey all can anyone point me in the right way for a cheapish/good in car video cam for a track day that they have used themself's that is user friendly as well? any help would be good cheers ps anyone going to the 4th of sep driver dynamic day too?

GoPro, non HD versions have ok quality and cost nothing. The HD version is the ultimate, but cost a little more.

Hit the on button, make sure you have the movie icon up, hit the record button. Red light is flashing, you are recording. Pretty easy.

Comes with a suction mount, drop that on the interior light / inside windows. Nice vision.

I use a HD Flip, you have to buy a suction cup for it, i got one on ebay for a tenner. Flip cost about $200.

If you buy a Contour GPS camera, it has a GPS embedded and getting the track data is easy.

But I use racechrono + bluetooth GPS + nokia mobile phone, then use adobe to compile the GoPro HD and racechrono video files.
