For guys who physically work out Ash, I'd use Tresos-B with Selenium.

I used to think that raw sugar was better than white - but now with its additives, they're probably just as bad as each other; but nowhere near as bad as 951 and 950 (aspartame & acesulphame).

On porridge, if not Stevia, then pure maple syrup (eg Camp) has less glucose than even honey. Honey can be healing on the gut, especially Manuka honey.

i don't have raw sugar for the health reasons, i prefer the taste.

Does anyone here get...

a) mid afternoon tiredness about 1-1.5hrs after lunch?

b) a flat feeling upon waking in the morning

c) both a & b?

If so (especially a & c), I have an experiment for you if you're up to it.

I pretty much never feel good, no matter how much/little I sleep etc

That's pretty debilitating!

Must affect work as well as relationships? Brain-Gut Connection? Mood shifts? Feel worse the day after drinking alcohol? Any depression? In pain? Seen a Dr/Naturopath/Acupuncturist?

> Feel free to PM me with more explicit details if you wish Michael (rather than answer here).

I tend to hit a wall around 1.30-2pm on a dayshift. But as i finish @ 3:30pm and walk home... By the time i walk home I'm all invigorated etc.

Usually feel fine in the mornings of late, never used to though. Found it was lack of enough sleep and diet, so changed both and mornings aren't so bad anymore for me

Dunno if that fits your bill or not?

(cant test for 4 weeks though, working night shifts, i seem fine on those strangely)

When I started working night shifts, my circadian rhythm has never been the same even after adaptation to the change in shift hence why I need my multivitamins (twice a day) to keep me going. One thing I noticed was that at work I would hit a wall at 4am, then as soon as I'm home say.....around 8:30ish I become invigorated lol. Qutie annoying especially when I need to sleep so I can be ready for the gym and then work.

I remember when I didn't realise about my condition I was constantly lethargic and when I use to consume large amounts of simple sugars, I basically had written myself off (never ending urination/thirst). Such a bad experience after you realise your blood glucose level being at 30mmol/L and not far off elapsing into a coma.

If not to complex a deal might be willing to try it definitly get the flat in the morning feeling

multiple coffee sometimes mix guarana into it now to get moving :)

Work 12 hour shifts an definitly get doughy in the arvo normally bout 3ish

I thought most people get tired after lunch due to blood going to your stomach area for digestion (remember hearing that somewhere not sure if accurate).

Personally I always feel like a nap after lunch lol.

I'm keen on your experiment Terry :D

Lately been getting the B, in the arvo i just get the cbf's with work in general, its not the body just the mind lol.

Yer depending how complex but id put my hand up for it

Thanks for getting back to me guys...

The "Experiment" so to speak, is on a new thread.

For those of you who do night shifts, I'd replace the word "brekky" with "1st meal of the day" + "lunch" with "2nd meal of the day"

Let's see how this goes at least 3 weeks after the Vit B3/Chromium Combo?

BTW Egg yolk contains much more Chromium 2+ than 300g of beef!

This Chromium is essential for reducing insulin resistance and tiredness.

It's not to be confused with hexavalent chromium 6+ in the Erin Brokovich film.

The experiment is on the "Diabetes II Prevention" thread. I guess that came from 'left field' didn't it?

Try it: it won't hurt. And there can be much to gain.

B3 is a companion to Cr and Mg

(whereas B6 is a companion to Zn)

  • 2 weeks later...

good replies thanks Terry, I think I'll check out your recommended multi

I looove maple syrup but I'd go broke eating it all the time... I don't have a sweet tooth though, can't think of anything I sweeten on a daily basis... I eat eggs on toast for breaky these days, got it down to a 5min process... even with baked beans on gym days:)

Looked for it online, couldn't really find anywhere (probably my searching)

anyone had any luck with Tresos*B PluSe' ???

Finding it that is ?

Tresos B and it's sister with the Selenium is at health food shops or from naturopaths

Meta B Complex is about the same

Stress B Forte is about the same

SF88 is about the same

(All the above are twice as strong as the B3 in Executive B Stress)

Thanks Terry !

Found it today in a health food store in the city, did a walk through of the mall on my way to uni.

Cheers mate, trying first one now.

Got some Hivita Stress today Terry.. Massive pain in the arse to get hold of. The manufacturers site crashes out halfway through a purchase, ordered it off another site only to find that they had none in stock because Hivita had it back ordered

Will report back how it goes anyways :P

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
