Let me guess, you are 17 years old?

for starter why the f**k would you say im 17 you dont f**ken know me

im asking for help on a topic that i dont know much on

stop f**ken running you mouth about ppl you dont know 2 cent about, so what if i want to do a AWD conversion to my gtsx it not your car it my car to go f**k your self

and ads thx for the info

Pete hasn't done the conversion at all.

Ive done the entire conversion start to finish for him.

Its a nightmare job, honestly unless you came to me with 10k plus I'd turn the job down.

Custom rear subframe, custom subframe locations in the rear.

Front needs a rail section for the drive shafts, crush tubes and a Gtr trans tunnel grafted or fabricated, front upper sections Plus the obundance of little things that adds up to hundreds of hours.

Because it seems like the sort of question that 17 year olds come on here and other forums asking because they don't know that it's a spastic idea with no benefit. The smart move would be to a) Not f**k up a GTSX, and b) just get a cheap R32 GTR. But no, we all have to come up with an original idea for a conversion because we need to be different.

Sorry champ i didn't know much about how he was going about doing it! All i read was he was making it AWD and i read little updates here and there, i wasn't sure if he was doing it or not!

Much credit for you taking on a large task though i would imagian it would be a headache!

Yep, types like a 17 year old.

What do you reckon the weight will be?

I remember putting my GTS-R on a bridge years ago and it was 1400-1410 without me in it.

Would be one hefty beast with a 4WD running gear in it and the aero of a brick :teehee:

Pete didn't really care about being different. The motivation behind it was more the fact his pete......

It actually started as an rb26/30 conversion. That went to an r33 GTR rear end. Then to a dry sump conversion and for some stupid reason he asked if id convert it to be awd for shits n giggles.

Ash I'd agree it's a heavy pig. Not sure of the weight yet it's not finished. Once his back from overseas the engine will probably get finished

ok cool thx brad about the rear end what can be done to get the adjustment in it i know about the r33 rear sub-frame is their anything that can be done with the sub frame and arm that are in it ??

how much would i be looking at just for the read end for someone to do it?

and would you recommend someone since you dont want to do it

would really like someone that has done it before

I only know of one other person who has done it. I went and looked at that car before doing Pete's and threw up in my own throat it was that poorly done.

Any decent chassis builder and good fabricator should be able to do the job, cost could be anything from 5-6k plus shocks.

Problem is it's an arse hole of a job to align the rear subframe with the chassis. That's where most of the time goes

    • I always wonder where the obsession with legal/illegal spacing on number plates in the UK comes from. Because it comes up in comments in every UK-based video I see on youtube. From my point of view all of your plates look a bit odd. Just because there are no markings whatsoever. In Australia we have the state that has to be on it. In Europe you get stamps and state logos. Yours look a bit like a throwaway draft that people then stuck with. And attached with blu tack so that it falls off at the slightest disturbance. Not trying to hate, but it's interesting how things are done in different countries. Do you have to follow a lettering convention when choosing a custom plate?
    • Hybrid sounds like a supercharger... It's half a turbo, with a belt to drive it! Oh wait, they're just called super chargers...
    • It's either an ignition failure or a fuel failure.
    • Before starting any work, we attempted to adjust the tune. However even after adjusting it to certain extremes like completely stopping fuel, it had no effect. What fixed it was removing the Nistune Board and installing the original EPROM instead. This immediately fixed the issue. Everything should have been fine with the Nistune Board installation, so I am unsure why it has caused a problem. The soldered connector is also properly soldered. This worked when I first got the 550cc injectors, before cleaning, but that may have been a coincidence.  We ended up not installing the fuel pump hanger (at least for now). So currently running stock injectors, stock fuel pump, stock fuel pump hanger – Well everything stock except the exhaust. Now I have around €1400 in Nistune, Injectors, and Hanger collecting dust for the time being, perhaps I'll install them in the future. For now I'll enjoy the car as is 😁 Thanks a lot for all your assistance, I really appreciate all the help you have given me.
    • The turbo can’t be the issue. They’re proven to make much much power than you’re making. There is something in the setup that isn’t correct. - has the exhaust got any silly step downs? - what exhaust manifold?
