I might just have the groups split at lunch - those that want to rush down and those that want to have a lunch break.

I know I'd like a decent burger and an hour to clear the drone-ing from the ears :D

I have to update the trip. New plan is to have lunch at the half way cafe instead in in Albury.

We'll still have a fuel stop in Albury but meeting point will change. I'll try to figure out our timing for you Humbla - but given the number of cars and length of the trip, I don't know how accurate will be. PM me your cell number and I can SMS you from one of our stops.

Ok so last night started to update but stupid windows update crashe my machine! ARGH!

Will update by the weekend.

Pm sent. :action-smiley-069:

you cant get away from that sound.. you will think it has finally gone away after a few hours, you go to sleep in a quiet room.. "buhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" comes right back!

Hey Eric, call in there on your back. One of my brother in laws drove from wollongong one day just to get a burger, true story.I'm gonna stop there on my way home on the monday, the grub is too good to pass up.

Wow - been told to HTFU... *lowers head, walks to corner of room face in*

Seriously, nobody wants a feed? Road Sammich I guess it is.

I was more meaning it towards those who need a quiet exhaust and ear plugs on a road trip... ;)

i want the address of burger place, if they are good enough to drive from wollongong for i will def make a stop.

im sure i can catch up with you slow trailer towing bastards anyway :P

As you come in to town it's on the right hand side,it's an old looking cafe nothing fancy.I have stopped there many times over the years, grub is out standing.Beef is local as well,no super market crap. All the truckies eat there as well. :action-smiley-069: Ps,stick to the speed limits down there the cops are savage,an they hide in the bushes too, sneaky bastads.

^^ sounds like something i would drive right past without noticing then..

yeah im always hyper paranoid about cops, only boot it up if someone is flying along a few hundred metres in front of me, otherwise its not more than 10 clicks over. been past quite a few radars at 120km/h without raising an eyebrow but wouldnt risk more than that.

anyway hope one or two cars also want the gourmet burgers!

On the way down to Melbourne ATM.

Pheasants nest to Yass is exactly 1 hour and 46 mins sticking on 110 km/h.

We are going to be arriving at Yass at 845ish if we leave at 7.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
