JDM34
I personally think if it has a matching front bar, side skirts etc to make it 'right', then it looks good. DaveO74
I think it looks good, nice work. I have the same bonnet in c/f for my 33, was gonna leave it alone but I think I'll paint it so it's not so noticeable. Hanaldo
Yeh does look good mate, well done with the mods One thing to note with vented bonnets, there is a lot of science to it. What can happen with cheap bonnets or ones that aren't properly engineered is they create a low pressure zone across the top of the engine bay, which means the air will be sucked up over the intercooler and radiator instead of through it, causing cooling issues. Hanaldo
Also another thing, you won't get away with the "it's stock officer" line. The bonnet is a structural part of the car, modifying it as you have done modifies the structural integrity of the whole car. Meaning it is definitely sticker worthy. Just a heads up. Correct! This is why the Nismo R-Tune bonnet has a Z-Tune tube which links the bonnet with the airbox. DaveO74
I didn't know this, mmmmmmm Would I be correct in assuming that haveing a full width radiator air guide in place would offset the negative air charge? As in forcing the air down through the IC and rad the the bonnet will "vent" the heat as one would assume it's designed for?? GTR-N1
In God_speed's Nur Dave, he has * R Tune bonnet (genuine) but with Z-tune tube out. * ARC airbox (which won't accept the Z-tune tube) * Full length air guide > temperatures at speed are at least 4 degrees less than usual despite the ARC box being notorious for trapping heat Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/378844-r34-with-bonnet-vents/#findComment-6123950 Share on other sites

Charles89
Wow... If that's a stock bonnet underneath and you just fibreglassed it over the top, that looks pretty impressive. Looks cool, a little too "Big" for me, but still cool. Also, This ^. Definitely yellow worthy. Does the opening make rain drain into the engine bay? Nice work!
