lilcrash
Yeah. It always happens to me like that. I was just concerned about driving without a low pressure warning of some kind. How many times I have done a 5 min job b4 camping or a big trip and it turns to shit. +1 to this haha. I started last Tuesday with thinking I would fix my loose front bar. Still havent got the car back on the road because I pulled it off then decided to clean the intercooler. Then while I was at it decided to put the new SS1 in. Its been nearly a week off the road now haha Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/381350-thread-for-my-car-problems/page/33/#findComment-6279911 Share on other sites

lilcrash
Well up until last week I still had my moms Camry so I never worried about it. I think I might look for a cheap scooter. Best part about that is 3 cylinder motors have the same exhasut harmonics as a 60 deg V12 go record some tunnel runs!!! Kind of how a civic with a blown head gasket on cylinder 3 has the same harmonics as an EJ20? Sounds awesome, till you realise its not. lol. Crans
Steven, Scooter for the Win. My skyline has been off the road for over 6 months. So for the past 6 months I Have been sharing a car with the wife, until this month when my work hours got changed. Went and purchased a brand new Adly 50cc scooter for 2k. My 14.4KM journey to work is now extremely fun, fuel costs have gone down from $75pw to $20pw(Including oil) and biggest thing, parking has gone from $75pw to nothing. Only thing I have yet to figure out is how to have my 2 morning drive smokes when on the scooter. lilcrash
The sensor I pulled out was a temp sensor, I have an r34 and a autometer sender but both are m10x1.0. The hole is m12x1.25 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/381350-thread-for-my-car-problems/page/33/#findComment-6280969 Share on other sites
BOOZTJUNKEY
Well wack and M12 bolt in there for now and plug it lol And I thought they were 1/8 npt fittings ? Auto meter gauges are usually 1/8 npt fitting but come with the adapters for bigger holes :-) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/381350-thread-for-my-car-problems/page/33/#findComment-6281020 Share on other sites

zebra
If you have been driving around with no pressure sender you would be grinding metal on metal in a couple of minutes I think you are looking at something else Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/381350-thread-for-my-car-problems/page/33/#findComment-6281079 Share on other sites

zebra
Factory pressure sender is under the intake manifold above the oil filter. But on the block itself Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/381350-thread-for-my-car-problems/page/33/#findComment-6281092 Share on other sites

lilcrash
It was on the sandwich plate. Opposite side to the temp sensor. My hands just couldn't find it.
