Check out these on special at the moment

These are the same 800s i bought about 6 months ago, they re cheap as chips for what they are.. only thing is you will need to solder in the new plugs that come supplied with the injectors as they wont plug right in...

can do it your self if ur half decent with a soldering iron or u can get your work shop to do it where they will charge you anywhere from $100-150...

800s are probs a bit over kill for u but there will be room to move if u end up wanting more power.. you could punch more then 400rwkw with 800s just to give u an idea

as for those injectors Nick is selling, those are the ones i had cleaned and flow tested and they came up great... the spray pattern also came up very well

So will be quiet :P

Yea would be a good comparison

Will try 98 first hahaha

Hopefully you don't have toooooo much lag ;)

Borg warner single on a twin scroll manifold...... will be like running a pair of -9s :whistling:

i wanna go the E85 route as well, would be looking at 450rwkw so i would need a new feul system, dont think the nismo would hold up

that and id probs need 1000cc injectors as a minimum

nismos will bolt directly in, same as the sards though im not sure if u need to change the plug on the sards 700's... confirm if u are going to purchase them

i read somewhere that they are both made by the same company "denso"?

but then again i also heard off my tuner that on the odd occasion the sards spray pattern isnt 100% where as the nismo ones are always top quality

in the end, its goin to be 3/5ths of fu#k all difference so wont really matter

yea 450rwkw

might as well go all out and get the big ones when the time comes...

obviously i would need a surge tank for periods of high demand, how could i incorperate my nismo intake pump into an E85 set up?

use the nismo to feed the surge tank then run 2 bosch pumps into a twin entry rail?

Will just have to wait and see ;)

Go for the id2000s, yea I think you might have to beef the fuel system up abit just to be safe, just get on the road first!!

haha will let u know

the 700s will fit in, just use a bit of rubber grease to get them in easier and to prevent pinching the seals and o'rings

anyone got any ideas on my nismo pump/surge tank/twin entry rail idea?......

It's an idea that is just a waste of money given current setup.

Doesn't sound like he will chase 450rwkw+ either (given stock rail/intank is fine for 400rwkw).

im talking about my future E85 plans to make 450rwkw

i know the OP doesnt need it

sounds good to me.. didnt realise there was anything much bigger then a nismo when it comes to drop in's, wheres the best place to get them Steve?

then i can flog the nismo off and get most of my coin back

didnt really want all that sh!t in my boot anyway

Oh no sorry not a direct drop in pump, some fab will be required, but it wont be as difficult as all the screwing around that the twin 044 and surge tank setup needs. It really does add up when you're up for all the fittings and lines etc.

standard injectors on my R32 GTR ran out at 19psi and 293rwkw, I changed the pump and FPR, which gave me some head room, but when you change the pump in a R32 it is a good idea to rewire the pump as the 2 speed for the pump tends to fail, I ran a wire off the alternator to a 20 amp fuse then under the car to the boot to a 20 amp relay (using the stock fuel wire to trigger ) and into the standard plug at the top of the fuel tank.

Higher fuel pressure helps with atomization so don't be scared to bump fuel pressures

"ran out"? 80,90,100% duty cycle?

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
    • I wanted to try and preserve the front bumper as long as possible, they're not cheap and are made to order in Japan. Taking inspiration from my previous K11 Micra build where I made an undertray for the Impul bumper, I did the same for this BN Sports bumper but a little slimmed down.  This time round I only made a 'skid plate' (if that's the correct wording/term) for just the bumper surface area, the Micra version covered the gap like an undertray. Starting off with a sheet of mild steel approx. 0.9mm thick 4ft x 2ft in size. I traced around the bumper, cut it out and cleaned the edges. Luckily I was able to get two halves from one piece of metal In the video I installed it as is, but I've since then I've removed it to spray and add a rubber edging trim. The rubber trim is suitable for 1-2mm and it's a really nice tight fit. The bolts had to be loosened due to the plates being too tight against the bumper, the trim wouldn't push on I used some stainless M6 flat headed bolts for a flusher finish (rather than hex heads poking down), I believe this style fastener is used for furniture too incase you struggle to source some. The corner's are a little wider, but this may be an advantage incase I get close to bumping it  The front grill got some attention, finally getting round to repairing it. Upon removal one fixing pulled itself out of the plastic frame, one side is M8 that fixes inside of the frame, where as the other side is M5. Not knowing I could get replacements, I cut down an M8 bolt, threaded it inside the frame along with a decent amount of JB Weld.  The mesh was replaced to match the bumper. One hole on the bonnet/hood had to be drilled out to 8mm to accommodate the new stud, once the glue had set it could be refitted. I think the reason the grill was double meshed was to hide the horn/bonnet latch (which makes sense) but I much prefer it matching the bumper Bumper refitted and it's looking much better IMO The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVZP35io9MA
