I just don't get why people aren't interested in stuff like this, who cares if it makes stuff all difference, any engineer always questions things like this and never takes anything for granted. Test everything and base it on real results, don't assume.

It's because it's a street application.

A race application would have the best of the best - etc.

However a simple bung in the dump/front pipe is ample. It's as close as you can get without going the mega buck route.

Havent you seen the tailpipe squiggle lines on Initial D and Wangan? That means the gas is travelling very fast.

3 seconds would not translate to squiggle lines IMHO.
