Its not a diesel 4x4 with a snorkel, will be some electrical component wet, wet air flow meters dont work so well, is the inside of ur air box wet?

Park the Stagboat up if you haven't already, give it a couple of days to dry out while you transfer the golf clubs into the Pudge e ot. Try again on Monday? Best bet.

just hope that it is wet electrics that need to dry out and not something worse. driving through flood water can end badly. there is always the chance that you will either suck water into the engine (not a good thing), or the car will stall and not start again, meaning you have to leave it there and go get help. if the water is rising fast the car may be underwater by the time you get back.

I wouldnt even drive through a puddle water and engines are not a good mix I would be disconnecting the battery and removing the ecu let it dry out

thanks eveyone for the feedback, got it sorted by just pulling the afm plug, car started fine but naturally would'nt take any load, replaced connection and hey presto all good,
