It's all good if SAU folk cant make it.

I enjoy driving so much and haven't been up that way for years.

Might grab a pub feed at the Banjo while checking the view of the lake out.

Never been to Charlotttes parts

Thanks guys for letting me know your all washing your hair that day...........your all whipped :domokun: and not necessarily by the pussy coz that'd be you :nyaanyaa:

Skylines were built for driving (and unfortunately fixing :whistling: ) not just standing around talkin about them on Fridays. Although i do enjoy the stories I got a million of em :D

Thanks guys for letting me know your all washing your hair that day...........your all whipped

I am not whipped! also I am not washing my hair!

BUT I do have my nail appointment that day

I have a similar trip in the works, was asked to go this weekend but not enough notice for work. I'll most likely be travelling at a different time of day :P.

And, Japan is great for driving. Looking forward to my upcoming trip ;).

Sorry I cant make it either Richo.

Got a new Brake Master Cylinder put on today. A bigger, better, larger unit to suit the Brembo's. BM57. (Bigger than 1")

Instead of the BM50 for the Sumitomos (1")

Now I have braking issues - Again :(

Booked in again Wednesday to get it looked at.

    • If there's enough meat in the housing where you want to put the M12 adapter, then do it, but be aware that if/when you f**k that up you'll probably be repairing it before doing anything else. I'd just drill it out and tap ina 1/4" thread. No need for rocket surgery when the next most obvious thing will do. You could throw a 1/4 x 1/8 bush in there and use the same fitting you intended to use.
    • Is the only issue that the oil catch can is getting filled on hard runs? I'd be thinking more about oil control issues rather then the head lifting, especially as you aren't seeing spiking in the coolant pressure.  Do you need restrictors in the head, or better drains from the head? Does the sump need venting to the catch can?
    • Tried to make 1/8npt threads into compressor house of the turbo for my EBC. Threads got fu#ked and ended up with and elongated hole, so I do have good amount and nice threads 90% of the hole but 10% I only had 1-2threads there and rest of it is flush on that side of the hole.. So my idea is to do M12 x 1.25 to AN4 with braided lines instead of 1/8npt to 4mm vacuum silicone hose.  and hopefully get a better thread. M12 is quite big and AN4 is a little bit bigger than 4mm (4.9mm inner diameter braided PTFE hose). but this should work. Thoughts? Otherwise I will weld and adapter onto the turbo.
    • Looks great, I hope everything is working well after all that time!
