Hi everyone,

In 2 weeks I'll be putting my car in for a respray. The only issue is I can't decide what color to go with - Lexus ISF blue or Audi white (like the one found on the A5 or the RS6). Just wanted to get your opinions - oh and the car that is going to be resprayed is:

I'll be changing the front bumper back to the series 2 front bumper with a Viva garage BL type lip.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Dont narrow yourself down to just two options man. Head into the paint shop thats doing the work or just your local paint supplier and ask to have a look at their colour cards. You'll spend hours just flicking through colour after colour wondering what she'll look like. Trust me, I get sucked into looking at them for a while at work every now & then!! Check out some of the euro colours, ie: BMW, Audi, Porsche, Lambo. They have some great colours available. Just my 2c anyway. Keep us posted on what you decide man

there are SO MANY different colours to choose from these days. not just custom colours, but manufacturers have HEAPS to choose from too.

go look through a BMW catalogue, or even jump on the USA nissan web site and have a look.

dont limit yourself to 2 random colours.

Thanks for the input everyone. I guess the reason I narrowed it down is because I'm already partial to these two colors. The sepang bronze is beautiful but I think it would only look good on a skyline that has more extensive mods.

The day of the respray is looming closer...decisions, decisions!

Completely forgot about this topic. At the end, after tossing and turning and looking at different color cards as suggested, I decided to go for the audi white. Looks simple and clean and it won't be a color that will go "out of fashion" so to speak. Here are some recent photos of it after the respray:

Checkout DNA paints you'll change your mind lol

The blue sapphire candy is nice , intense blue

Diamond clear it

Would be stunning

White a good one is 88 rx 7 anniversary white

Rare colour its whiter then white when sprayed on white primer , its so white it picks up the blue tint in street lights at night like a candy Blue

My old rx was painted that way . Its hard to describe but on white primer its crazy white , the factory used grey and thats still whiter then qm1 white nissan , most likely repaint my r34 next year that colour its WOW for a non pearl white

Pearl white looks nice but is a pain to keep nice

Had a pearl white and candy blue toyota truck , forget touchups on pearls and candys its near impossible

Love the blue and s3 purple 34's but unless my car was stripped bare i wouldnt change the colour to far from current imo

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
