I have way to many options with clutches

Rather then spamming the hypergear thread I thought I might create a thread.

I understand that there is a drivetrain section but it doesn't not have many people visit it from what I can see.

So I got quoted for a organic clutch but then a few of you guys said its street friendly but not great for handling any launches etc.

What I am looking to spend is around $500-$600 and it needs to be able to handle my shitty manual skills lol

But also once the car is complete it may see a few track days a year.

Links and prices or just discussion will be greatly appreciated. The person with the most help wins.....my girlfriend!

thers a twin plate exedy in the clasifieds for 800, (was my other choice)..probably no good if you have shitty manual skills..but if you just keep an eye out plenty pop up in there...

Haha girlfriend wish it was beer. I found a exedy organic clutch good but I had a better pressure plate installed great for street even seen some track days lasted me 1 1/2 years then sold the car and it still held strong cost me 630 for clutch and better pressure plate not bad

just go a very heavy duty organic, the most forgiving clutch perfect for someone new to manuals. if you dont plan to make more than your current 250kw then you should be able to get one.

Okay sweet so the guy quoted me $410 for an organic

Maybe I'll ask if he can make it as strong as possible for $550 and see what combo he comes up with

Someone mentioned the extra extra extra cushion button

Anyone know if this is forgiving with the odd shit take off

Just browsed their site using my mobile but it's pretty shit reception down the coast.

i got quoted $644 and 44 for machined flywheel from NPC and that for a 300rwkw plus organic clutch so you cant go past that. but maybe just maybe the muppet in the chopper has a better solution hahahahaha

lol , yeah thats to machine your own flywheel , so would be about $700 or less for the whole 300rwkw organic clutch plus machined flywheel of your own,

dam im advertising for them hey, they should give me a discount cause ill be getting this deal in next couple of weeks ...

Yeah mate from Keith he sent me a message last night.

Hasn't given full details he just said I'll get back to you then sent that message.

I wrote back but it was 6:00pm and he said we can chat Tuesday.

Gotta chat to him about the flywheel he said if I have an exedy clutch it could have its own aftermarket flywheel.
