:worship: Gouger is the only place to get my super late non-fast food dinner ...... although the stir frys could sometime be as "fast" as the HJ's a bacon deluxe bugger! :(

mmm Ying chow ;) if there not busy and you ring before hand 10 mins till it ready, ill try and say hello next time.

See a fair few others couple of white 33's and red one parked infront of THE BOG ( bar on gouger) a bit.

Spotted a red 32 gtr with plates RRR032 on the way home on main north rd tonight . Followed behind him a bit then went past him and he followed me a bit . Both of us turning into gawler at the Mallala turn off . Clean looking car mate .Turned on the interior light for a second so he could see me wave LOL. :worship:

i reckon i saw you the other night yours silver with r32gtr plates? if so i was following u for a bit mby munno para shops i was in my jeep

also spotted grey 33 gtst plates kirby with a chick driving and also spotted a silver 4 door r34 with r344me plates bvlonde chick driving all in munno para area!

On my lunch break saw a nice stealthy black Stagea at St Agnes. First thought it was Grim but, had an older lady driving it.

Definitely wasnt me....the 260 decided to drop a turbo and suck the blades back into the motor, way to destroy a pricey rebuild!

Oh Jesus, that's bad luck Ben, you just got her rebuilt!!! That's a lot of cash out of the window! Feel sorry for ya bud :domokun:

Cheers luke, only just finished running it in pretty much and now its back in the shop pulled to bits! The RS4 will have to go soon to help pay for that, aswell as a wedding im trying to pay for! Perfect timing really!

Oh yeah, when it rains it pours! Just curious, did you upgrade the turbos when you were doing the first rebuilt or did they remain stock? If they were new I'd be pretty pissed! Still got the video of you the last big cruise we went on, hearing your car take off gives a nice feeling in the pants :domokun: Hope to hear it again soon!

Nah they were still the stock ones forunately, but its not worth replacing them so im just going to upgrade them now! Wont see there full potential though until i can afford to do the computer, cos the stock one is already struggling!

Yeah it certainly puts out a nasty note, i cant wait to hear it again either!

Good stuff! Well I know it's little consolation but when you get it back atleast it will be badder than ever! Just getting mine back this arvo with some suspension work done to it, got a camber kit fitted to so should be able to dial in a degree or two more than usual :domokun:

Best of luck buddy

aww that sux ben hope its not off the road too long

spotted the dark blue R33 this afternoon prolly a S2 colour with a blond chick driving it front mount stock bar and number plate off to the side :(

    • Sorry I haven't been following all the detail, so you may have tried this. Does it idle with the tiniest bit of throttle you can add? You've mentioned the IACV, does it have an AAC valve and have you adjusted it at all (ie, screw the idle adjust screw all the way in, then back it out a couple of turns until idle is stable)?
    • My bad, I unplugged the one underlined in red instead of yellow before. With the car started, after unplugging the IACV (the one underlined in yellow), it idled at around 400/500 for 3 seconds before stalling. Attempting to start the car without the IACV will not start the car.   It does stutter and sputter for around 5 seconds before dying. However, immediately after starting it, you can already hear some slight sputters from the exhaust.   It won't start with the AFM unplugged. If it is when the car has already started, it stalls in a few seconds.   Yesterday, I did take some logs using Nistune of 3 scenarios. Car idling till it stalls Car idling and unplugging the IACV Car idling and removing the AFM I also have some previous logs of when the Car is idling till it stalls and when driving and it cuts. I am not really knowledgeable enough to understand what to look for. After every test, car idles rougher and rougher, until I have to stop. It will be fine the day after.
    • There is no difference between a 17x8 and an 18x8. The total diameter of the tyre needs to remain +/- the same (so you don't mess up the gearing, speedo reading, and clearance when turning front wheels..... so you just need to use a lower profile tyre on th 18 than you do on the 17. /rocket surgery.
    • I thought the same to start with. But then I thought it was one of those LCAs where the end of the ARB goes through a bushing in the LCA itself, instead of having an end link.
    • Yeah - I mean, go the other way. Smaller range. Not larger.
