Hey guys,

Kinda new to the site, I purchased an R34 last month (Cant afford GTR..) & want to put some 18" black rims on it.

I have done the usual google searches, looked around ozzytyres, ebay.

Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations or ideas on some black wheels that will make my ride look sweet :)

OR, if anyone could recommend online stores with a decent selection?

Ive currently sitting on 18's, but would prefer black :D

Congrats on a very tidy looking yellow R34 :)

I think black wheels will look terrific on yellow!

Any of the above suggestions will accentuate the car's presence, and its good that they're light; but what's your budget?

Cheers guys :)

Yup, Ant I love your GTR mate & those Te37SL's do look amazing on it.

Thanks to your ideas everyone, I spent hours searching over the past few nights & found some Varrstoen 2.2.1 wheels which are a replica of Te37's around $1100. I cant really justify spending 3k+ on wheels right now, and I never track so I think these will be ideal for my daily use.

Im looking at the +22 offset, this should have a nice aggressive concave? (please advise, as this is new to me)

This is the model here : http://www.varrstoen.com.au/shop/2-2-1-wheels/2-2-1-rims-wheels-18i

I have 235/40 ZR18 tires which I think will go on the 9.5 model. Do anyone reckon I should get 10.5 at the rear? Does anyone know if I would need to roll the guards or do any modifying to fit 10.5 at the back of the GTT?

Really appreciate your guys advice :)

LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
