anyone know what these problems would be??

hey guys,

here is my problem, its an r33gtst

first of all.

theres a like ticking noise coming from my front wheels, when im driving you cant always hear it but when there is like a fence next to the road the sound bounces back and you can hear it. would it be the break pads? as apparently they make a noise when you need to change them???

second is when i go over a sewer cap or something at normal speed i.e 60kmph it feels like the rear slides a bit??? anyone have ideas???

I'm not sure about either, but the first one is not brake pads worn out. That will make an ongoing squealing noise, you won't miss it You might want to check you wheel nuts are nice and tight tho.

it could be loosen wheel/or suspension bots somewhere or hub bearing on the way out..jake the car up, hold the wheel top and bottom and try to shake it a bit and see if there is any movement. if so then the bearing..

i know that break pads squell when they are worn but i also got told theres a litlle clip that pertrudes as well to make a noise to let ya know.

bearings cost heaps hey?

yeah, that little clip is what makes the squealing noise, otherwise you get a really nasty graunching noise when the pad runs out.

it could be as simple as a rock stuck inbetween ur treads.

hey man, that clicking noise is the bush connecting the radius rod to the chassis, the nissan bush is about $70 ea but i bought a nolathane style pair for $55.

if you dont believe me spray the bush with wd40 and it will go away.
