Next blue......hahaha, i see all the people being being put into cop cars at 4 am when i finish work, they have a friggen portible jail there sometimes. Soo many asian gangs there its scary.

My local is the Wheelers on thursday, coz i can roll down the hill when i'm off my face. and its usually the Hawthorn or spy lougne friday or saturday night. If i aint working ofcource.

Hmm..

Sat - was usually Billboard, but been doing a few pubs with DJ_Lethal and the boys of late.

Fri - Who knows, depends if i feel like going out.

Yet to make it to Hard Kandy as yet. I should really make more of an effort

Maybe in a week or two for the CD launch i might go.

definetly NOT boutique. was there sat night.

If you are Guy, forget trying to get in. It wont happen.

If you somehow manage to get in, you pay $15

Then if you can still hack it $8 for a 330ml Becks WTF!!

I only went for a couple of hours and left.

just like any other club; packed, smokey and bouncers are (unts

the only thing i laughed about was the price to get in, the price of beer and the fact the dj wears a tie......oh ann all the chicks shop at the same store cos man they all looked alike.

i dont think i will be returning anytime soon

my party spots are as follows:

calder

sandown

heathcote

phillip island

Looks like a few of you guys go out in the city... havent been to billboards / hk for about 4 years now... i remember the days when we got all dressed up in our ravers gear and went out for those big nights!

RedR32 - your probably just too ugly :) j/k .. i have a membership keyring for botique somhow so can always go for free... but yer, like most places these days the drinks r a rip off... went on thursday and blew about 60bucks in 2 hours..

Dj - where is Puggs? I think it might be near my place... lived in carlton for 6 months now and still yet to go out in the area!

i go different places with different people...

with mates:

jimmy rowes

anglers tavern

one (sometimes but don't tell anyone)

bridy o'reilleys

have been told waterloo on wednesdays is good and might check it out soon

with the g/f:

anywhere in the city

with work friends:

velour bar

dan o'connells (mate plays in a band there)

dreux bar

anywhere really

prefer bands and live rock music really but i like to stick to places with the three B's:

Beer, Bands, Boobs!

Waz.

Im not huge on the club scene these days.. kinda over it all now.. just major raves for me..

My friends usually go to

Thur night - Lotus

Fri Night - Candy Bar, Seven etc..

Sat Night - Zos, Silvers, etc..

Sun night - Motel

I hate the club scene these days, security and the people who run the night get off thinking they are mad c()nts because they can get you in etc.. Its soo much BS and it really pisses me off that I have to line up for ages and get knocked back for runners (when clearly everyone else has runners) but the ****ed up manangement wont let a group of guys go in.... 2 years ago there was none of this shit and you could always go out and have a good time.. now you have to know people (which I do) but the BS behind it all pisses me off.. Like they are better than me for having control of letting me in their club.. U c what Im trying to say..

Go the good old pubs where none of this occurs... walk in, get smashed... dont get judged coz your not too "cool" and all g-funked up and your best mate doesnt run the night or do security..

PS - I went to Bliss a few weeks back... what a dump :D

End tantrom

PS - I went to Bliss a few weeks back... what a dump

:werd: Amen to that! That place is fu(ked!

I've been frequenting pubs'n'bars round Brunswick/Smith St lately... mainly coz I've moved to within $8 in a cab ride and I love Souvi King :D Loft on sundays is pretty sweet...

SPEWPN... you been hitting motel lately have ya?

Hmm..

But i know what your saying about clubs etc.

The only reason we get into Billboard on Sat it we know the guys on the door... and weekend just gone, they knoced back two of the guys we were with as they didnt know thier faces.

Meh. What can ya do eh?

Two Words:

HARD KANDY!!!!! That'll take up most of yr weekend  Start at 11:30 on Friday night and go till close on Sat morning, go back to a friend's place to chill out and recover.

Sunday is then spent reminising about the fun from Friday night :)

I'm usually there every fortnight with Wardest kicking to the beats of Scott Alert and the rest of the Kandy Krew. Ash, yr soft and will never make it to a Kandy night :) If you do wanna come though, gimme a hollar and we can hook up!!

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
