Some Prick Broke My Weather Strip

Hey Guys,

Got back to the train station after work today. disarmed the car and heard the chirps that alarm has been triggered...

My glovebox was open and centre console...all the f**ker took was my ipod (no big loss)...nothing else was taken...but the f**ker broke my passenger side weather strip when he broke into my car (I beleive some other cars got broken into as well)

my question is...where can I buy another one and also how do I remove the weather strip

That sux, did u see if there was any surveilance footage? As for the weather Strip, I'd like to know where and how much as new from Nissan would b a killer.

I believe you mean the monsoons. I never had 'em and was put off by expense when I enquired. Try a wreckers but don't expect success.

They'll never let you see the CCTV footage anyway; it's a liability/privacy thing.

there is no CCTV in the carpark at the station I park at

When I took mine off they were held on by some really strong double sided tape and a few metal clips. It was easy enough to get the weather strips themselves off, but the double sided tape is a pain.

Happened to me too when someone used an iron bar to smash the drivers window.

Nissan calls them something strange like sun visors. I bought a new one for about $260.

Can you use epoxy to repair it? Not sure how bad the break is but I have repaired a C34 strip with epoxy, it was split along its length.
