PIARC are running sprints at PI, 1st & 2nd September regs are here http://www.piarc.com...es/24526S_2.pdf

Noise=95dB limit

This is not an SAU round but still thinking of heading down for the Sunday.

$240 or $210 before 25th, includes Dorian timing. Believe you can enter on day, if spots available.

Instructors are available if you wish to enter the slightly cheaper practice day Saturday – no timing.

keen to hit up the island again

Know what you mean. Wet Sandown highlighted issues with my set up and PI was last dry event so looking forward to going back and playing with setup. Popped in to south Melbourne Pedders at the weekend, alignment was out of whack unfortunately they maxed out rear camber adjustment and it was still not enough. Looks like I'm up for more coin for adjustable rear camber arms etc to get rid of excess rear camber.

What changed? Did you bang it into something?

think he had stock ones.

To true. Nothing happened, been slack, haven't had alignment this year, had drifted significantly and inconsistent. Though I'm still over -3deg at the rear and can do nothing about it till I get aftermarket adjustable arms.

I just filled in the forms, keen to hit up the island again and break into the 2 minute lap time. Get your entries in soon and save $30 before the 25th. :)

did you enter for sat or suday?

My entry was confirmed by email yesterday too, as scrutiny opens at 7:30 I guess we would need to be there around that time, especially with up to 140 entrants.

I will be meeting other drivers at McDonalds Cranbourne at 6am if you want to get a quick bite and head down with us.

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
