Hanaldo
Careful what studs you use Ron. I bought proper high tensile exhaust studs from MTQ, who know their stuff with turbos. They were warped within less than 5000kms. Like completely banana shaped. rondofj
Oh man thats bad, did u talk to them bout it? I bought a 12mm spacer from them last week. Studs coming from best mufflers, hopefully they be alright as they're an exhaust specialist, but who knows.. Staos been using the supercheap auto stainless steel studs without issues.. U got a pic of your banana studs Hanaldo, were they all warped?? Hanaldo
Yeh spoke to them about it, they were pretty impressed haha. Didn't really have a lot to say about it though, just that I had obviously exceeded how much heat they can handle. They replaced them for free and I'm using them again at the moment because it's downright impossible to find 57mm inconel studs. I've got a photo somewhere, I'll find it. They were completed rooted. Had to cut two of them off. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/413023-long-turbo-studs/page/2/#findComment-6611645 Share on other sites
