Wuh, what? No one has the pace of the Red Bull's. It is going to be boring as fk.

Also why didnt channel 10 show the Can Am during the Melbourne GP. W@nkers.

There were Can AM cars at the Melbourne GP....... or do you mean they aired it while the GP was on?

I'm not sure, I saw it live :)

They didn't show them on the tellie because there wasn't time in the 30 hours of cross promotional shite channel 10 put to air. Useless fkrs.

Just watched the race.
Awesome driving by Mark.

Lol at Maldo..

Poor Alonso..

Mercedes, awesome drive.

Vetel... no comment.

Was a difficult week to not hear anything F1 related hahaha.
Literally everywhere I turned.
Morning news, morning drive to work on radio.. afternoon drive home..
Saw it on tv at midday today at the gym even.. sigh.

Will probably buy a multi 21 shit for next year if a better quote doesn't come up.
Or buy one for quali and then race day.

well in one of the two races anyway... when the lead Ferrari was out of the race after the first lap, the Mercedes were keeping pace until they started runing out of fuel, and even McLaren were basically keeping up until they hit trouble of their own making again. And that was after the first race that Kimi ran away with, Force India were fast and Ferrari finished second. Bit premature to say no-one has the pace of RBR and its going to be boring as fk!

besides, if you listen to the drivers, you're not seeing anyones' pace in the race. They're all saying they're driving around nursing tyres at about 80%.

I disagree. He just genuinely doesn't give a shit. He wants to race and that's it

This Pretty much. Why he is so much happier at Lotus (and its showing in his driving at the moment)

Its not all about raw pace. Tyre life is playing a bit part this year. Red Bull are one of the worse off teams with tyre wear and it may cause them to do 1 more pit-stop then some other teams. And as said, I would hardly say their pace is far and above anyone elses. Mclaren wont take long to bounch back, the Ferrari is starting much quicker then last year, Lotus have improved and Force India have shown they can mix it at the front given the right circumstances. IMO its going to be a good year

Seems to be. I read an article not that long back that suggested RBR are well ahead of the other teams (other than Ferrari) and its mostly in part due to Horner who it seems is quite the wheeler dealer. He was the only team manager F1 fella to attend Bernie's wedding and talk is he was the mole in FOTA who used to sing to Bernie. All of which has helped RBR win favorable terms with FOM

    • Just to be clear, there were no lights or codes when the hiccups were occurring. Also nothing noticeable in the cars' braking. It brakes fine and the dash is clear. I only made the connection when it did throw a code and suddenly, despite the lights, it felt great again.
    • Yeah they are sliders and this was in my head before I worked out it was the speed sensor.
    • Ok so we have a smoking gun.  A few weeks ago I had to replace a speed sensor that I'd fit incorrectly. I replaced the sensor and everything was fine with no lights or codes thrown any longer.  When I was doing some more bedding in yesterday I got ABS and traction control lights again and, considering when this happens those things are disabled, the pedal went back to normal with smooth braking and no hiccups.  The codes thrown are for the same speed sensor that I replaced. When I looked at the sensor I took out it looks like the tip of the sensor is damaged. So whatever happened to it, perhaps it has damaged the magnetic ring on the bearing (that I only replaced the other week). I'll get my boroscope in the hole where the sensor goes and see if there is any damage in there. Hopefully just the tip of the sensor is in there and the bearing is fine. 🤞🏻  It's worth noting also that the pedal hiccup happens more often and for longer periods now and totally goes away when the codes are thrown again which happens usually after 5 or so minutes of driving. Love all your help here as usual guys, thanks!
