Feelin the love in here.

Bought some new nuts (since my missus keeps my current set in her hand bag) to match my soon to be teal brake calipers.

Nice man, my missus is f*cking crazy for teal coloured stuff.

Nice nuts Mat.

Sean, we give to strife because we can.

I get the car on ramps, take off cover, move tray under sump, remove plug, try to catch plug, remove filter and go have a smoke. That usually does it. :)

That's what i did for the oil, but when i went to do the filter i didn't have enough energy to take the sump cover off and get the clamps around the oil filter because it's very tight then i couldn't find the friggin things then i just gave up and wanted to go to sleep.

That's not too bad since it would be much much easier to get the sump cover off. The stock one is such a bitch. You'd think it'd be noisy though wouldn't you? with rocks and shit flying up and hitting it.

On dirt roads maybe - i don't think you'd notice to be honest. mount it with rubber grommets in between to insulate it from the k-frame and you shouldn't get any vibrations or anything.

Sorry they don't make them for boats.

Couple of things:

1- Your car is the same only with less doors, so how many knots does yours so and do you have it tied up at the jetty or marina?

2- ill happily meet you in the bends then say that.

3- the underbody protection plates rareJDM make one that fits sedan and coupe.

I replaced my engine oil last night, so difficult when my car is low as f*ck had to drive the car up on bits of wood to fit the jack in..

Still need to change the filter, i didn't end up finishing the change until about 7:30 last night and i was tired as f*ck so i thought i'd do it next oil change.

Is it normal for my car to use 1L of engine oil in about 7,000km?

Low is when you carry timber in your boot to get into places, cant fit a broom stick under the exhaust box or spark on a daily occurance.

umadbro?

My car is the same as yours except it's easier to get jiggy in the back

there are a few manufacturers. Zspeed also makes them.

Haven't done any research but I have read about one of the versions actually hanging lower than the plastic OEM tray - so that's something i'd be wary of. I'd be keen on one though. I hate taking those trays off - on my mazda the bolts rusted on and I had to literally bend it out of the way, to get the oil filter out - which was a cartridge style meaning i was guaranteed to get oil everywhere.

Trays are a piece of piss. Off in 1 minute.

How?

Get your electric drill, and a bit set with a 10mm socket. Put it in your cordless drill, and remove all the bolts. Job done.

Hey you can get jiggy in the back of mine too, if you're 4 foot tall and feel like breaking your back

After 5 months of going back on forth on the idea i finally debadged my V today and couldn't be happier with the results, will try get sum pics up of the car next week when my holidays start =)

yeah but with ours you open a door and make sweet tender love. with yours you have to wait what feels like century for the seat to come forward then be lego man size and made of rubber to get into the back. 4 doors for more whores!!!

    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
