It's all going on down south buddy !

Not sure if being dirty haha

Highly Likely. :D

Oh and Mik's Plates look Great on the New Improved Beasty.

I may have fixed the main Sputtering / Hesitation the Wagz has been doing on and off for sometime...

CAS Plug. see how it goes after tweaking the terminals in the plug but I have a new one on the way.

Makes sense if it is the culprit.

Im basically north cooma lol. Royalla. Funny thing is it takes me less time to get to work from here than it did from nicholls haha.

Finished dump pipe. Should sound awesome. Debating about making a side pipe with the leftover material.... or maybe another catback :)

and it looks like ?

and cost me ?

PM if that's better

Cost $160.

Its actually the cheapest option.

No extra cost for plastic or colour or slim.

It would cost more to get a new set off the shelf. Because it would be a new number, and changing the details in the system cost more than getting a new set made.

 Typical.

Yeah ill pm a photo or two to you.

^^^^^^

Its nice to have options. Those have a very clean/oem look, I like the ones with the black bit.

Change of colour on official paperwork today.

A bug shat on it, ( :O omg!) and outside air is really dusty. Still wiping fingerprints off the door everytime i get in.

Tyre black from a tyre shop re-balancing the fronts, all over the guards. It must have been the brush on stuff as there was a drip that seems to have dissolved my wax. Its like a run in the wax.

Ive gotta get over it and not worry so much. After all, its a daily driver.

Aaaah! the old chop off the vents trick. Looks good but I think I like the full vent with the black better.

Yep!

I haven't decided yet. I'll leave it on for a few weeks and see how we go ;)

nice mate. I'll prolly go blek.

the rotors look like PMU with that light blue

some work recently on the 32/4

replaced windscreen with OEM, had GTR rims painted, put new RE002 treads on, painted front/rear bar,

fit new 2nd hand steering wheel and fitted new aussie wool front car seat covers

likely polish/wax it tomoz after lunch when the sun come out

should come up pretty good I'm hoping

woops. Orderd some plates white on black like Mik's and replaced the yellow fogs with clear

GTR rims look Great Richard! Got any pics of how they fill the guards?

Anf... we should call you Larry Flynt. You are publishing porn my friend.

Today I swapped my old Front Shocks back into the 33 but put some Lovell Springs on instead of the NISMOs it had.

Now the rear feels like it's squishy instead of the front. Might have to take the rear NISMOs out and put the matching Lovells in.

I think the front is 20mm lower than it was which makes the rear look too high. The NISMOs were already lower than my old stockies.

I also put some new Nolathane rear Swaybay D bushes in the Wagz. Feels nicer and tighter again! and less like it has a dislocated hip when going from 1st to 2nd whilst turning.

Lots of red and yellow here. :D

Defs put the Lovells in the rear

Rim itself fits flush with the guard but the tyre bulges out a bit

If I was modifying I'd drop it down an inch or so with Lovell springs

may be out that way tomorrow morn

    • Have a vb in honour of the car comming back
    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.
