Here's a noob question for you. I was pressing different switches in the car today and something had triggered a 4WD light to show up on the dash. I thought the cars were full-time AWD. Can anyone shed any light on why this light is on?

Not full time AWD. They are the same ATTESSA as GTR so only AWD when the back wheels slip. Watch your torque meter when you're on a hill and pulling out somewhere it will flick some drive to the front wheels.

Probably the 4x4 switch in front of the shifter

Bingo. Syncro will lock the diffs, snow puts it into snow mode.

Awesome,thanks. So for regular driving it should be on the middle setting. ie. not synchro or snow.

How good was the snow last year? Though I went on one day when there was a massive storm overnight and none of the runs were groomed = tough work on the old snowboard!

Was an epic year. So many powder days. Well powder days as far as Australia is concerned. I just got back from riding in Austria and Italy. Got chest deep powder one day in Austria.

Funny follow up on the original car I was going to buy. I drove past the car yard where I was going to buy the original car I put a deposit on with a friend who wants a station wagon. I wanted to show him what a Stagea looks like and wouldn't you know it, the same car is still there. After they told me I had to pay today, today, today as there were so many other buyers clambering to get their hands on this car. Ha ha ha. Slimy car salesman. What a douche..
