Honestly, if the moderators/committee/organizers aren't interested in doing anything anymore, why are you letting them hold their positions? It feels like you need some fresh blood on this site. When was the last time the WA crew organised any events? The last sau dome day I attended wasn't even organised by a committee member, but rather by one of your regular members. Hell, if they are so lazy they closed the WA specific for sale section? f**k a duck, that's woeful.

Silviawa was the same until recently when we grabbed some new coordinators, now we have more social events than the Kardashians. Our last one was watching fnf6 at the drive-ins, I'm sure you guys could do similar.

would be happy to organise events, cruises (when cars running) and moderate.

as i said on the last page, SAUWA is dead!

I'm pretty sure most of the mods for SAUWA don't drive skylines anymore and have other commitments, I've been part of this club since 05' and admit yes it used to have regular events and active but I can tell you now it has died. IF you look at other car clubs, you can see how the mods of them still drive performance cars and so on hence why their club is active.

Keep in mind that being a SAUWA committee member does not give you a moderator status. As a committee member you will be doing events for SAUWA, but you will not be moderating the forums.

Only put your hand up if this suits you.

So..... Can I please have my membership now?

OP started this thread on 1 May ... I think this is pretty indicative that perhaps more active members should be approached and should be given a moderator status to help assist things like this (and before anyone asks - for obvious reasons, being I rarely post and prefer to read, I'm not putting my hand up)

Even the WA workshop thread, that I posted a while back and people replied with the latest info on the garages, wasn't used to update the pinned consolidated workshop thread. The WA section isn't a high traffic forum and only takes about 5 mins to read everything and respond to these sorts of queries.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
