Just bought myself an R32 GTR (on P plates.. durrrrr), she's in the garage now, but here's pics. Previously had two R32 Type M GTS-T's. Nothing compares to sitting in the GTR though - it feels alive and so much more... intimidating - even when it is off.

Big end gone, tossing up an RB30 block build, or finding an RB26 bottom end and dropping it in.

I have nicknamed her "Moth."

Why you ask?

'Cause that's all that's left in my wallet now. lol

Living in Hornsby, had it on the street with no plates for a day - nine auto salvage business cards on the windscreen within the morning.

Never doing that again.. hahaha

Ah well - let the game begin...

I restored the Key by painting the "R" in blood clear red, then scouring it down the key length with scotchbrite, leaves a nice machined look I reckon. Don't like shiny for some reason. (I know, is cracked a can of sads...)

Was sold on here by Member - "Moving on". Happy purchase, he was as honest and decent as anyone I could hope for.

And the Purchase made us both happy, but I think he's a tad upset.

But at least I ain't pulling it to bits for the money.

Unlike some of you vultures out there...

Herro Alex, I do know you're from round here too just never seen ya!

Look in the skyline's spotted thread.

My post shows all the ones I see here in hornsby, just from work. lol

I saw that onevia (Black one? Gold rims, massive camber) too, and a SilEighty.

the sileighty is red, real clean, with bronze LMGT4s. I think similar to mine, only comes out to play on weekends.

the onevia is purple with lots of stickers on the rear windscreen, massive camber and drift wheels (bbs fronts and ...something else rears?)

so...you work saturdays at bob jane?

Anyone here know the delete list for a street legal GTR?

No aircon, etc.

I don't know. My engine bay looks so cluttered compared to other street GTR's.

in summer a/c is gooood.

get rid of the twins.

easiest way to free up space.

    • Unless you're fortunate enough to buy a newer car, getting an older style plate to match your name/car is difficult because they've already been purchased.  Unlike other countries, personalised plates are locked to the country and not region, so there can't be multiple versions of the same plate but with a different area code.  Hope that helps

    • That's why I said it is a meaningless term. Because there is more than one meaning that people can apply to it. When we said "highflow", that is exactly what we mean, and exactly what is done. In a highflow, they take your housing and machine them out to take bigger wheels, have a better internal profile, etc etc, and fit a new core with the different/better/bigger wheels.
