Balls of billet steel, Dale, that is awesome! She is a champ.

Rules are rules. Obviously the pressure on officers filling quotas is getting harder.

Lol, I think it's because of the invisible bunky 323. :whistling:

The look on my face as she was retelling the story must've been priceless; I refused to drive her car for about 3 months after that.

She's got my number; I can't get one past...

It's not all bad, she did order me to buy a new motorbike a couple of years ago; apparently I'm a grumpy f**ker when I don't have one. :woot:

And pizza shops everywhere go bankrupt.

I want to meet her Dale

> make an appointment

> get on my knees

> beg for an autograph :)

As long as its not on the pavement, and blocking her way :P

Drove from Port Macquarie to Newcastle tonight. Only saw the one cop car and it was as Port Mac HWP unit, I followed him from Lake Cathie to the highway where he decided to do a u-turn and enter ninja mode on the other side of the road in wait of speeding motorists. Funnily enough, saw a local P-plater n/a r33 driver absolutely hammering it coming from the Kew/Kendall exit towards Port Macquarie.... hahah patiently lurking his facebook hoping he got ass-reemed.

Saw not one single cop besides him on the trip down, as per usual. I seem to never see them even on big public holidays. The most ive seen in one trip was 3 between Newcastle and Sydney on a Thursday arvo few weeks back.

Been hearing sirens all day today; they must've been smashing the corner today.

Should've sent Shell for a drive; "Move along officer; nothing to see here"...

Stats from Blue Mountains LAC FB page;

Traffic & HWP Police with the assistance of other police performing duties in the Blue Mountains LAC have been visible and busy on our roads.

Day 1 results:
- 755 Random Breath Tests performed (nil positive results)
- 46 Speeding offences detected
- 16 other offences detected
- 1 x Seat belt restraint offence detected.

Stay Safe and be patient with dickheads over the long weekend. Keep the cash in your own pockets. ;)

Great to see that out of 755 breath tests there was no drunk people!

It has always puzzled me how they get idiots for wearing no seat belts though. Its hard to see through someones windscreen from a distance let alone see if they have a belt on.

While returning from watching F&F 6 :woot: there were 3 cop cars (2 x marked. 1 x Unmarked) on GWH past Westmead Hospital junction/M4 entry on the downhill. (Where all the trucks are parked usually)

Well, we didnt see any cones or any copper with a light saber in his hand, yet one of them had pulled over a P-Plate VW Golf and a lady in a wrx. Poor fella in the golf was terrified as he had no idea what to do when the cop signaled him in. Hope his night went well.

i just picked my gtr from vic yesterday n drove back last night to syd with no plates on the car (as seller kept his) i had a permit to drive to nsw tho. i didnt even get pulled over the whole way i was amazed, thought id be pestered the whole way up only saw 2 cops and they were on the other side of the road.

Had a blue HWP follow me last night, was going through a roundabout, looked out the corner of my eye and see a highway patrol turn from a sidestreet and head towards the roundabout, then turned left in behind me....naturally I stayed glue to the speed limit, and once I got to the highway the HWP went a different direction. I wasn't particularly concerned as my vehicle looks completely stealth on the outside.

Hmmm to drive to Texi or not :/

Just drive there lol, will be fine.

Im departing for Sydney at around 11am. Will give you a heads up about how many campers there are on the f3

cops were RBTing on Mona Vale Rd last night, Terrey Hills.. often see HWP looking for speeders in that area but first time I've seen an RBT. Was "interesting" having 2 lanes stopped while they repeatedly tried to direct one car into the RBT station that clearly didn't want to go in - either they were drunk or they just panicked and didn't know what to do (we've all been there, first time a cop pulled me over I gave him my ATM card  ).

Got no sympathy for drink drivers though, if you're over the limit you deserve it. Especially during double points, that's just silly business.

Speeding is a bit different - easy to drift slightly over especially where the limits are set too low to begin with, but thankfully so far in NSW I haven't heard of people being pinged for 1km/h over like they do in victoria. As long as there's a margin of goodwill there then I'm happy. Doing 15-20 over? Then you deserve it.

I was on M2 yesterday and most people totally ignoring the 60km/h roadwork limit. I'm a stickler for roadwork speed limits and always slow down for them but it irritates me no end when there is a roadwork speed limit despite no roadwork going on. The M2 can safely be posted 70 or 80 in that area because the road is decent, 60 is fine if there are actual workers there but the signs should all be LED and be set to 60 when there are workers and 70 or 80 at other times.

I don't like hearing of cops with speed traps hiding behind bushes or illegally parked etc - my opinion is that a visible public presence will have the desired effect of slowing people down and they should be leading by example. It's a tough job and often a thankless one, aside from the occasional bad egg they do a good job.

    • 9" wheels are a little too wide for a RWD 32. They can fit. People have put R33 GTR wheels on 32s for years and years. But they are a very tight squeeze. This has been known for about 30 years. As I said - there is no difference between a 17 and an 18 in terms of what will fit. The rolling diameter needs to stay about the same as stock - not very much larger. If you increase that, you will start to have problems. If you increae rolling diamater at the same time as yo increase width, you will have problems earlier. as 9" wheels are pushing the boundaries already, you would need to be careful with tyre choice. I would put 8.5s on the front of mine, but would expect problems with 9s.

    • Diagnostic flow for a code 21 says check signal at the ECU pins, on a voltmeter of some kind it should read 0.1V at idle, 0.12V cranking, 0.15-0.25V at 2000 rpm. Check each coil such that +1, -3 is infinite or very high resistance, -3, +2 should do the same. (-1, +3), (+3, -2), (+1, -2), and (-1, +2) should all be somewhere between 0 ohms and high resistance. If you trace the path from the coil pin all the way back to the ECU in the diagram the resistance you measure at the coil vs connected to the harness should be pretty much the same.
    • I have an elite 2500 running an adapter harness on an rb25de neo r34. I took the butterfly out and removed all that junk. But I also went Plus+t at the same time. The butterfly thing works in reverse to the boost solenoid on the Gtt if that makes sense
    • yeh they are 235/45/17 up front and 255/40/17 in the rears. I still didn't get my answer if i can fit a 18x9 up front. I want to get 4 of this and see if they will fit before committing as they didn't see an 18x8 as an option but there is a 18x9.5 also.   Enkei RS05-RR 18x9 35mm ET 5x114.3 75.0 Bore Matte Gunmetal Wheel
