Picton Rd Update!

So the roadworks on Piton Rd look like they're wrapping up, so we now have a clear run and back to normal speed limits

awesome as cant wait to see ur 33 to mr33yo

Ok so I just did a run up the pass, there must have been a truck the lost a lot of oil on the road while going up. They've cleaned it up with sand and most has been washed away, but there is still some on the sides.

Road is good a part from the sand, so take caution on the edges people.

But over all clean and clear will be a good run :)

My Skylines will be parked for this event. My favourite club exec wants to see my new green car so I'll bring that along. Don't hate the outsider! :P

I may be late to the first meet point, or I may just never wake up! :P I don't finish til late tonight sadly.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
