Conrod Oil Feed?

I was wondering if anyone can help me out.

After buying the nitto conrods I've noticed that they don't have the oil feeds on the side for the rods, unlike the sock 26 rods which have them?

I know millions of dollars go into research and development for aftermarket parts, but why did they eliminate this?

That's an oil out let and nitto rods still have them

No it only has it for the piston pins look at some google images and compare it to the one I posted

They are oil OUTLETS. They spray a little oil under the piston (opposite side of the oil squirters)

My spool rods for the 25 dont have them either. I wouldnt worry about it if youve gone to the expense of getting nitto rods I assume you have forged pistons. Plenty of people running nitto and spool rods without problems

If you look at the nitto rod there is a hole there, so yes it does have it. It's not shaped like the factory rod but the is there

Just had a look again and NO there isn't, only two holes for the rod bushing.

How exactly do you think the oil gets to the rod bearings ?

Ye so big end nothing, shit, nada. Little end fair enough it has two holes

I think only the Nitto RB30 rods have the oil squirters

What do you think the hole does ? Cause I'm getting the idea you think the oil goes in though the hole to lubricant the bearing

I know how oil travels through the rods and bearings. But is it enough is the question? Why change the design

Oil travels through the block then through the crank into the rod big end bearings

That hole is to squirt excess oil onto the bottom of the piston, I believe for cooling purposes, and not actually needed so don't worry about it there fine

Has anyone considered the presence of the block mounted oil squirters?

Yes that's right they are there for the pistons. But are there any cons in eliminating the orifice in the rods.
