We need an SAU QLD Oktoberfest event... Yess... Ok not official because the aim is to drink lots and eat more pork knuckle... But much fun would be had!!!

Black Forest German Restaurant is uber for this type of activity.

Morning... Pork knuckle day...!

You mean, peppery pork pie day with sauerkraut!

Morning all. Mid 30s today, it's a bit early for that nonsense isn't it?

Indeed it is. And my aircon just packed it in on my 5 series...grrr. prolly just a relay issue though.

Anyone know of any real cheap cars going ATM? I just wrote off my pulsar :(

R31 Series 2 Silhouette for $1500 sound good?

Yeah details of it?

Dad wants me to get a Mazda 3 or Suzuki swift or a Toyota work mate. And that's all my options.

I'm like umm excuse me, but Suzuki swifts have no power, and I want a skyline. He's like no, they're shit, and they cost to much money. And then I'm like it's my car farrrk you!!

Buy mine, cheap and its P plate legal (ish).

Well, once I find a GTR at least.

    • I'll get one of these also just for giggles
    • I bought 6 new spark plugs to compare readings. They will be here tomorrow and ill see if meter is far off if it all. I know one is at least reading 0 so its best replace all anyway if one is bad, from experience. I still have to test the harness just to be sure its not a double issue and I waste my time haha-the old plugs are iridium I always thought those lasted more than 50,000 km.
    • If you take the top half of the intake off you can unbolt the flap off the shaft and leave the shaft in there blocking the hole. Then you can remove the little vacuum canister off from under the manifold and get a spare vacuum line to run to the ECU. I can take some photos of it later. Probably best to get the vacuum source to the ECU sorted first though. Mine all worked mint with the base map from the GTT an I've pretty much let the closed loop sort the fueling and took 1 degree out of the whole timing map.
    • This IS something you also have to configure in Haltech (or at least I did in the past when going from onboard-to-ECU map sensor and an external MAP sensor in haltech land).
    • I'm hoping it's something as simple as the ECU is looking for an external MAP sensor, but he is trying to use the onboard MAP sensor.
