Hi Ants :action-smiley-069: You coming on the cruise on Sunday?

Sadly, I cannot. This weekend is busy with my fathers birthday on Sat and friends daughters 1st bday party on Sunday that we have been invited to.

Will try and see if can come up for a monthly meet and dinner though - it's not that easy FTM with a young family

Nawww that sucks... You should try make it to one of the German Club ones when #@Sick_R31 stops making me wait and announces when one is happening! :P

Its awesome!!! It's a good thing the food places I really like are the opposite side of town to me or on either Sunny or Gold coast... It's too much effort to get fat...

Got my car back!

2hp short of the 400 club. At least i can be a big boy in the 300hp club!

There was a bit of dicking around involved (fuel lines falling off, AFM's not balancing, forgot to change the fuel filter, that sort of stuff) but EFI sorted it and the car is driving a lot better than it was all round. Valve springs are starting to be an issue at this point and i'm not looking to do any more engine work, so that's where she's going to stay for a couple of years. Pretty pleased at it (I mean, 450hp would have been great, but it is what it is: 20 year old engine), next stop, more suspension and brakes.

Very nice mate.

398hp is 296rwkw - its a good number for a standard RB26 and probably one of the more useable ones too lol

As long as it is all realiable, I think you must test all them horses out ;)

Sadly, mine is still having issues :( Won't be running at the test and tune on sat that's for sure, but have a zed guru coming round on sat to hopefully get to the bottom of it

My motto is Fix it or F**k it. haha Sick of f**king it, didn't buy this car to be troubleshooting for weeks!

Mates motto is just fix it lol

Plus he can tune, and runs a restore and modification business ;)

hmmmmm restoration business - I have been contemplating this for skylines

      Ok thanks 🙂 I will higly consider this. Any "known" company for a good reviews and experience to send that off? Is that CJ-motor good one? Or go straight to GCG site? I need to use VPN to even find some of those "shops" let alone access them 🙂

      You can literally put in as much WMI as it takes to quench the combustion totally (and then back it off a little, obviously), and it will keep making more and more power. The power comes from the cooling effect of the water (and the meth) and the extra fuel (the meth, which also has massive octane). It is effectively exactly like running E85. One might be slightly better than the other, but they are damn close. But with either you can lean on the boost or the timing (or both) waaaay more than with just petrol and the results are similar. Here's the first thing I googled for an anecdotal bit of evidence.       Yeah it is wild how much wider the Yokohama A050 in 255/40R17  vs Yokohama AD09 in 255/40R17 sits on the 17x9 +22 considering its even from the same brand and adjacent product family

      Would love to see some examples of WMI making the same as E85. Only thing I've ever found is this one.  Which suggests WMI is not worth much at all.
