Roy
I think the Porsches speed is fine. I think their energy recovery system and general hiccups are what are going to be the problem at le Mans. I can see it now. Flying all that way, camping for 4 nights and Webber's car will probably retire in the first hour without Mark even getting to turn a single lap. I have never beena good luck charm watching his F1 races. I hope WEC changes our fortunes! mad082
Well as long as his arse keeps pointing towards the ground it will better than his last time out.I actually said that to him a few months back when I met him at work. We were talking and a regular customer (who claimed to be a major fan, yet didn't even know he was now racing for porsche), asked him what he was doing this year and mark started telling him that he was racing wec for porsche and mentioned le mans. I chipped in with "hopefully it goes a bit better than last time you raced there". I laughed, mark chuckled, and the customer/mark webber fan didn't get it, lol. Roy
Will be interesting how they go about it. My first reaction was that Rick Kelly seemed to show up the Nissan Intl drivers at Bathurst in the GTR. Fair enough, hometown advantage of Bathurst but had no seat time in the car....so was thinking htey need to up their driving talent pool Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/441980-world-endurance-championship-2014/page/2/#findComment-7293270 Share on other sites
