I'm not saying we should ban pushies from roads altogether, but if they can't realise some roads are just unsafe for them due to what ever reason then maybe the Gov should step in and ban them from certain roads

I mean if you walked into a pub and saw Mike Tyson getting rawdy after having few would you then walk up to him and tell him he's a soft cock pansy and a disgrace to the human race, or walk up to a group of outlaw bikes at a servo and tell them their Harley's are shit boxes, I know I wouldn't even though I have the legal right to do so, so why would you put yourself on a certain road that puts you at risk of getting hit by a car

And the drivers attitude needs to change is the biggest joke on here, especially when your attitude is " we have the right and don't care how it effects you ", change that to " you know what, their are to many useless drivers on the road and this road is poor designed for me to pass safely so I'll go another way cause I value my life to much" and when you do this what do you reckon will happen to the pushy death toll

Common sense goes a long way, it just seem these pushy riders aren't capable of it

Your rights AREN'T GOING TO HELP YOU WHEN YOUR DEAD

We are ban from some roads.

I still don't get what you plan to do once you have written down the rego of the pushie, the police can't do shit off your testimony, even a video of the incident is inadmissible. What is it going to change for the huge expense we will all need to pay to implement?

They're not for us to see, it's for the police and traffic cameras to see.

Unless of course there is a "hit and run" where the bike causes accident to a car etc. and rides off.

if the police see a bike do the wrong thing they would pull them over. . .

Exactly. And if they had registrations they could easily find out who the serial offenders are.

I continually see cyclists coming up this hill on a Sat.

The sign at the bottom says, "Do Not Enter"

And it's "One Way" from the top > down.

They'll get collected one day, and it won't be pretty!

Furthermore there is no speed limit on this stretch; no properties, no light posts, 2.5 Km outside of the city limits.

where is this?

ROFFLOL! This statement is the best laugh & the biggest piece of UTTER BULLSHIT in this entire thread!

The police cant even pull over a damn car doing the wrong thing!

Don't make me list every time I've seen a police car present when someone in a car has broken the law & they've sweet FA about it!

The only time a copper is going to give a shit about someone on a bike doing the wrong thing, is when they are on a bike as well.

Be realistic!

*SIGH*

It happened again this morning. I was waiting to turn westbound onto the M4 from Wallgrove Rd. An old guy on a pushy was heading northbound towards me on Wallgrove rd. Lights changed, he slowed down, we turned on our green arrow & then, you guessed it, he continued on through his red light. :spank:

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
    • Yeah, I guess its pretty easy to get to if this doesn't work. Just wait till next oil change and pull it out. I am going to have to do the oil pan gasket soon and thought I'd just replace it while I was there.  Thanks
    • All that matters is you're safe and you were able to type that post. Hopefully heaps of parts you can recover for the next shell.
