Haha its a purely non sexual relationship, trust me.

Yeah mate, its the factory colour and still original paint believe it or not. The LM only came in this colour.

KPCresta it is a good feeling owning something quite rare and in this condition also being one of only 14 vspecs. Id be interested to know numbers of them in the country and around the world too cause i imagine in 18 years a few have been laid to rest.

defari, there isn't any difference mechanically, just the colour which is exclusive to the LM, the rear pillar decals which I'll post a pic of, bonnet lip, front bar cooling ducts. Carbon fibre rear spoiler blade and I've noticed the engine bay is the same finish as the exterior whereas I've noticed with all my other skylines had matt finish engine bays (no clearcoat finish )

Was told about the 14 v-spec numbers by previous owner and he had done quite a bit of research on the LM. If also sent me a copy of the original price options from Nissan and yes, v-spec was an option so there were base models too. I have also read it on other forums. Will try find the info again and I'll post a pic of the pricing sheet he sent me

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
