  1. I have an oem one at home doing nothing. I upgraded to a Nismo one. PM if you want it.
  2. You should really consider keeping it as a weekend type car rather then a daily driver. You will appreciate it a lot more taking it for a nice squirt on the weekends rather than driving it at a fraction of its capability in the daily grind to work and back.

  5. I voted for the GTR for the same reason. Having owned a modified EVO TME and now a modified GTR, I prefer the GTR. The GTR has a 'soul' and a special feel about it that no other car I have owned seems to have. Difficult to describe. But I am sure any GTR owner will agree.
  6. It looks incredibly clean and when you read the description the sellers are encouraging you to do an independent odometer check and mechanical inspection. It is priced on the higher side though for an incredibly clean series 3 with that amount of kms it would still be worth around $30K?
  7. Yes thats correct. Custom inlet piping to replace the OEM setup.
  8. For reference I am using the GTX2863 twin setup (with custom intake piping) and standard -5 rear housings. She made 640hp at the wheels lately when retuned for 30psi boost.
  9. Hello I am selling my JUN intake & exhaust cams I had in my previous setup I have just changed (I have upgraded to a ported head with HKS Step 2 cams) They are 9.7mm lift with 272 duration. They have been used for approx 5000kms and present in as new condition. One of the lumpiest 'drop in' cams available. Priced to sell at $450 including standard registered / insured postage.

  11. Hello Michael I think you may have used to cruise with us a bit in the 'RICE' days? (I used to own a White JZX90 Toyota Cresta) I have been a member of SAU almost 10 years now and certainly agree the WA Section is now a ghost town. Admittedly I have only owned my GTR for a couple of years now so haven't paid much attention to this site before then.
  12. Hello I am selling my Garage Defend cooling panel (fiber reinforced plastic - ideal to paint your own colour or leave as is) This item was purchased new through Greenline. I am selling as it doesn't fit my car due to custom radiator mounts I am using. (A new one is approx $280 from Greenline) I am selling for $150 + postage (postage price can vary depending if you want Express or not, around $25 for standard registered post)
  13. I had -5's on my GTR when I purchased it orginally (-5's / Power FC / Tomei 260 cams) and would definitely NOT recommend it on a 2.6 engine. The top end power was just not worth the lack of response and torque down low.......
  14. Apologies reviving an ancient thread though I wanted to ask if this is the case when you have an R33 Gtr gearbox with GTS4 (4.375) ratios in the front and rear diffs. I purchased a 21 spline gts-4 gearbox speedo pinion and my mechanic friend had a very brief look at it and is not convinced if it is the correct part or not. Is the R32 GTR gearbox speedo drive different to the one in the R33 GTR gearbox? Alternatively is there any reliable electronic devices out there that can correct my speedo instead? Cheers Gavin
  15. I can understand your anxiety and frustration. My build started in June 13 when I dropped off the stroker kit and N1 block. It went into the shop around November 13 and I picked it up after run-in with the powertune sorted last Thursday. (There was approx 6 weeks of panel and paint sub-letted to another workshop early this year though that was the only 'side' job) Though there are few workshops you can trust and expect quality work (especially in W.A) and it all ends up taking longer then expected due to other customers builds of course and usually a few hiccups along the way. But the end result will be worth it! All the best with your build mate
  16. Hello all I am selling this unit as it arrived with a crack as seen in the picture. Instead of having it repaired I opted to purchase a new replacement one instead. It can still be repaired easily enough as it is ordinary fibreglass underneath. Price is $100 including standard registered post (half the price of a new one delivered)
  17. Hello all I have the following items for sale: R33 Gtr ARC front mount intercooler (60mm). I am selling as I upgraded to a HKS 100mm unit. This is a quality core with cast end tanks and as you are aware ARC are among the best intercoolers available. Obviously used but in good condition. Price is $200 + postage Okada Projects plasma booster (Ignition upgrade unit similar to HKS DLI) I am selling as my tuner deemed it not required with my current ignition setup. A good upgrade if you have an older set of coilpacks or just looking to optimise the existing spark. Brand new in box. Price is $200 + postage R33 Gtst Carbon radiator cooling plate BNIB (china spec) I purchased this from Ebay listed to fit an R33 Gtr. It does not fit and will only fit an R33 Gtst. Price is $100 + postage
  18. With the 2.8 it has improved off-boost drive-ability and increased torque throughout the rev range. Though in terms of peak hp I don't think it will make much of a difference increasing engine capacity by ~10%? There is more in it if I increased the boost I suppose? Though I am more then happy with the current power for now. Gavin Beers R32 GTR with a very similar setup made 670hp atw on 27psi on E85 so it isn't too far from what you would expect? (vs 636 @ 25psi)
  19. Hello I have changed the diff cwp in my gtr to a 4.375 set front and rear from the Skyline GTS-4. My speedo is now approx 15kmh out and I require the Skyline GTS-4 speedo pinion drive (21 notches rather then 20) to replace my GTR one. I have contacted Nissan who have advised the part is now obsolete. Does anyone have one available / for sale??
