Polyurethane Steering Rack Mount Bushes?

Has anyone installed polyurethane steering rack mount bushes? Was there a noticeable change? any downsides, like harshness or vibration?

Worth doing

Slightly Improved steering response and more steering feedback from the road- depends on how worn the stock rubbers are

The increase in nvh is very small, you can try really hard to notice any difference but you'll probably just forget it after a while and enjoy the improved steering input

Better road feedback may not be for everyone though especially if you're used to driving lexus or mercs

Done, and no difference noted. My rubber ones were still in very good nick though.

I guess I'll check my current ones and see how they are looking. Im not happy with the way my car steers at the moment. Its a little vague and doesn't respond to my inputs as much as Id like. Im gunna replace my rose bush tie rod ends, get an alignment and maybe do this?

Anything else Ive missed?

Lets just say, i would replace every other bush with poly first before doing these.

Speaking of which, whats the cheapest place to buy all these poly bushes for our cars. I recall seeing a complete poly set on ebay for $565 but that was a year ago, I didn't get it and I haven't seen such a good deal yet.

hmm ok. There are enough parts that sacrifice comfort already, so im sure another one wouldn't be noticed

JDM obsession had reasonably priced super pro kits
