THE SHOW off the track will be just as exciting as the one on it at the 2015 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour.

Organisers have announced a new partnership with Raceline Events to promote a spectacular auto show at the February 6-8, 2015 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour Event that will fill Harris Park with colour and excitement across the weekend.

To be known as the Bathurst 12 Hour Supershow, the two-day Event will be a full-on show and shine complete with judging and a prizes – with presentations to be held during the lunchtime shift of the 12-hour race on Sunday.

The Supershow is expected to attract a huge array of competitors from around Australia that will fill Harris Park with colour, noise and excitement for fans at the circuit.

“We are excited to welcome Raceline Events to the Bathurst 12 Hour and are looking forward to the first ever Bathurst 12 Hour Supershow,” Event Director James O’Brien said.

“The Bathurst 12 Hour weekend is already a feast for the senses of motoring fans thanks to the wide variety of cars in the 12-hour itself and the three support categories racing on Saturday. This will just add to the variety for fans trackside.

“We pride ourselves on offering the best value tickets in Australian Motorsport for race fans and this will just make the experience even better, with plenty to see and do off the track as well as on it.”

Applications are already open for the show, with the first 150 entrants to receive a bonus parade lap of the full 6.213km Mount Panorama circuit on Saturday – between Bathurst 12 Hour qualifying sessions.

“Plans are also underway for a monster Supershow cruise potentially involving as many as 12 car clubs from four states and the ACT converging on Bathurst on late Friday,” said Raceline Events Ian Badock.

“It is expected that the Bathurst 12 Hour Supershow will attract participants from as far afield as Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne, as well as closer regions like Canberra and Sydney.

“The Supershow will cater for all makes, models and types of Street machines, Sports Cars and Supercars – plus race cars. It will also include a working Dyno for entrants to test the power of their machines, plus an Audio show that will attempt to match the volume of the on-track 12-hour product."

All entrants receive two weekend passes to the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour Event with the first 150 to take part in the parade laps on Saturday.

Did I just hear the Mayor of Bathurst say something about building a New Circuit? :O

You did.

Pretty sure it's been in plan for a few years now but they're keeping it on the down low.

Not sure how residents of mount panorama feel about having a permanent track. It would mean a lot of noise pollution.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
