Hi All,

I've had a quick search but couldn't find a definite answer. I have an R33 S2 GTST and it's got a few mods to it:

FMIC

3" Exhaust to highflow Lukey exhaust

Nistune ECU

10 pound wastegate spring

Splitfire Coilpacks

To my knowledge it's running a stock set of injectors and fuel pump (yet to confirm) - I may have forgotten something, sorry.

It was last tuned with a stock SMIC and the exhaust as is. My question is would I get more power from the car if I got it retuned with the FMIC this time? It made just over 170 at the rear wheels but after reading a few threads on here (this for example - http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/10567-front-pipe-dump-pipe-beforeafter-dyno-results-203rwkw-stock-ecuturbo/) and they are making similar/more power and I have the Nistune.

Any replies are appreciated!

Cheers, Jacob

If you're thinking of spending some money on a tune there's a couple of things you should do beforehand.

New fuel pump for safety more than anything. The stock ones aren't very good now that they're 20 years old.

Dial in some extra boost with the tuner. 10 pounds isn't a whole lot these days and you're not maxing out the injectors yet.

Edit: sorry I thought you said highflow turbo. You can't really go much higher than 10-12 psi on the stock turbo without risking damage

What would the stock injectors capable of?

Thanks GTSTBoy, is GTR injectors a good upgrade?

won't fit on a GTS-t without some serious dicking about.. at about the same time you could convert to 21st century injector technology like what I've done here:
