R34 Gearbox Oil Cooler Question

Hey guys

My na r34s gearbox has a noisy input shaft bearing when it's hot but not when it's cold but apart from that it's fine

It's my second gearbox and I can't afford a rebuild so I was wondering if an oil cooler would be recommended to keep the from being noisy

I also have no idea where in the box you would connect it to, I kinda though the drain and fill plugs but I think that's wrong

Any advice would be good

Even if it's saying its a stupid idea

Oil cooler + a pump + plumbing.......part way to taking it out and at the very least doing the input shaft bearing.

You weren't thinking you could do it without a pump were you?

Haha I knew I would need something to actually get the oil to go through, I was hoping it could be a gravity thing though

Gravity would cycle the oil through the cooler once. Then what? Get gravity to lift the oil up?

You sure it's not the thrust bearing in the clutch?

Yeah I though that would be the floor in the plan

Well it doesn't sound like the trust bearing and with the clutch in its completely silent
